Worthy Is The Lamb

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
To receive power and riches and wisdom,
And strength and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:12)

When we witness the glorious miracles, signs and wonders that the Lord has done in our lives, it is effortless and unchallenging to give Him all the glory and honor and praise, for He is worthy of it all.

However, when time comes when He asks of us to do something out of our comfort zone, would our response be, “Yes, Lord, be it done to me according to Your Word for You are worthy of my willingness, yieldedness and obedience?”

This song that I am sharing with you today was birthed from my ever-growing revelation of Jesus Who is Worthy of it all. Enjoy and be blessed 🙂

Worthy … “For Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”, that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” (Galatians 3:13-14)

In my previous blog, “Remember Jesus” https://heartofworship7.com/2025/01/23/remember-jesus-2/, I mentioned about my challenging journey in sharing this song to the world.  To compose is easy, as He deposited this gift in me. But to make this known with my unrenewed mind, oppositions had a feast in suppressing me.

Thanks be to God Who is rich in mercy and abounding in love.  He made me realize that this gift is not about me, but about His love for mankind.  The fruit of our lives, may it be a smile, a text message, a song, a poem, etc, is meant to make one taste and see how good the Lord our God is.  Our response to Him affects someone out there whom the Lord desires to reach.

Our God is an extravagant God. He is able to make us do one thing, as for me today, one song, to reach one whom He sees precious. It is so of Him to lead me not to focus on the 99 but believe for the one whom this song is meant for, who has ears to hear. I always get reminded that we are not to despise the “one” number, because it is considered a multitude. A seed sown always have a potential bountiful harvest. Hallelujah!

When I said, “Yes, Lord” to do this song by faith, His grace amazingly met me.  He positioned people to run this race with me effortlessly.  You see, we do not do things on our own.  We are the body of Christ where every joint supply is a necessity to fulfill His will.  More so, we do not do things without Him for His Word says, “Apart from Him we can do nothing.” (John 15:5) … nothing that can make a difference in other people’s lives.  It is His life living in and through us that significantly counts.

Truly, when God speaks to us to do something, He is not talking about us per se.  He is talking about Himself working in and through us to touch those He loves until the earth is filled with the knowledge of His glory as the waters cover the sea. Every assignment He has given us is what He will do through you and me. It is all about HIM.

Jesus, indeed, is worthy of our “YES, YES, YES, LORD!”

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me by name, filled me with Your spirit, gifted me with this talent and graced me to do what you have called me to do today to be blessed and to bless. Thank You, Jesus, for redeeming me so I may walk in confidence day in and day out. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for leading me to the right place at the right time, doing the right work with the right people, with the right intensions of my heart. All glory and praise belong to You, O Lord, Who is Worthy of it all. Amen!
