“Forever, O Lord, Your word is settled in heaven.” (Psalm 119:89)
How wonderful and awesome it is to think that there is no rebellion, no opposition in heaven. The Lord our God fully and absolutely reigns and rules, not in a military way but every heavenly being is in full obedience and reverence to His Word.
This is the reason why satan was booted out of heaven because a disobedient spirit is not welcomed there.
“For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.]” (Romans 11:29 AMPC)
Each one of us is created uniquely by the Lord our God, the Awesome Creator. No two people are alike, not even identical twins. No two people have the same irises or fingerprints. There is always a special distinct mark that only you have or I have. There is a specificity of the gifts and callings that He pronounced over every created being and for us to fulfill it, we need to discover the seed of greatness that He has deposited in us.
With the finished work of Jesus Christ, our stories were rewritten. Once we were lost, but now, we’re found. Once we were bound, but now, we’re free. Once we were of no use to Him, but now we, can confidently say, “Here I am! Send me!”
He gave us beauty for ashes. He turned our mourning into dancing. He gave us the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. He called us trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He might be glorified.
“And He took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body, which is given for you. DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME.” And likewise the cup after they had eaten, saying, “This cup that is poured out for you is the new covenant in My blood.” (Luke 22:19-20)
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John 5:4)
The Bible says, “Without faith it is impossible to please God, for he who comes to Him must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6).
A believer believes. A believer walks by faith and not by sight. The just shall live by faith.
How many of us experienced or are still experiencing to today being judged according to who we used to be, before our deep encounter with our Lord, Savior and King Jesus Christ, Who is the ultimate Life-Changer and Deliverer of all times? It is not just being labeled by the world around us, but how about how we see ourselves which is weightier, more impactful and has a greater effect on the way we live our lives?
What is the Lord speaking to you today? May your ears be inclined to His voice that will cause your heart not to harden.
“God means what he says. What He says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey. Nothing and no one can resist God’s Word. We can’t get away from it—no matter what.” (Hebrews 4:12 MSG)
One of the main reasons why Jesus came to earth as the Son of Man is to reveal Who the Father is, for no one knows the Father except the Son.
“All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him” (Matthew 11:27)
“For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11 APMC)
There are a number of people that the Lord wants us to pray for. At times they ask us to pray for them, but more often than not, it is He Who prompts us with His love and compassion over them that it behooves us to put them in our daily prayer list.
“And thesesigns will follow those whobelieve:In My name they will cast out demons;they will speak with new tongues;theywill take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them;they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)
You and I are called earthen vessels to carry this GREAT TREASURE in us that the excellence of the power may of God and not of man. WE are cracked pots made of earth and clay so that the transcendent character of this power will be clearly seen as coming from God and not from us.
Our testimonies are evidences that God the Holy Spirit dwells in us Who is the power-source of the Kingdom of God, for everything of Christ that is to be demonstrated through a believer, that’s you and me, is MIRACLE OF GRACE! It is never by our might nor by our power, but by the Spirit of God resident in us.
