Called To Be Christlike!

The greatest face of God’s goodness is the love of people. When we walk in love, we demonstrate what it means to be the body of Christ. We are His hands and feet as we go and stop for the one He calls us at a time and touch them with His love. We are His ears as we take to listen, as being heard and listened to is nearest to being loved!  We are His eyes that with what we see we are graced to express His love and compassion towards those in need!

“Be imitators of God in everything you do, for then you will represent your Father as his beloved sons and daughters. And continue to walk surrendered to the extravagant love of Christ, for he surrendered his life as a sacrifice for us. His great love for us was pleasing to God, like an aroma of adoration—a sweet healing fragrance.”  (Ephesians 5:1-2 TPT)

New Wine In New Wineskins

A new season demands a new way of thinking.  A new move of the Holy Spirit requires yielded hearts that are fully persuaded of God’s great love for His people, that He gave His only begotten and beloved Son, Jesus, for us to be reconciled back into His loving embrace.  It is a necessity for us to believe that we are NEW CREATIONS in Christ alone.  But it takes our spirits, souls and bodies to align into His thoughts and ways for us to be able to explore and experience this newness of life in Him.  Old wineskin indeed cannot hold new wine.  It bursts at the new wine’s fermentation.  But the good news is, there are ways and means to make an old wineskin be made new again, yet a process is involved.

“Nor do they put new wine into old wineskins, or else the wineskins break, the wine is spilled, and the wineskins are ruined. But they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”  (Matthew 9:17)

Overcomers, That’s Who We Are!

When we find ourselves so low and hit hard with a great opposition, KNOW that we are in for a great promotion . God is in control of our destiny and all we need to do is trust His leading, submit and surrender to His lordship. When He has taken ownership of us, it only means one thing, He’s got us.

He clothes us with righteousness.

He embraces us with comfort.

He fills us with His love.

He upholds us with His righteous right hand.

He graces us to hear Him speak that gives us the confidence to be still and know that He is God.

He opens our eyes for us to see hope in the midst of hopelessness.

If where we are is not good, it is not the end YET. Christ is the HOPE of glory! His goodness displayed in our lives is His glory! When Moses asked the Lord to show him His GLORY, His answer was, “I Myself will make ALL My GOODNESS pass before you.” (Exodus 33:19)

When we are aware of Him, HOPE is inevitable. Expect a joyful journey to explore, having confidence that surely He will turn things around for our favor, for He Who began a good work in us is faithful to finish it. His presence will always go with us, giving us rest, giving us good success and seeing our journey to an expected end in glory.

Beauty arises from ashes when we are IN HIM. When we find ourselves in a fiery furnace right now, BE AWARE that He is with us, in us, for us and upon us. Like the three Hebrew boys, though they have been in it with heat that was turned up seven times more, they came out without even a smell of smoke.

Like gold, when put in such extreme heat gets purified and we will see dross floating before its pure stage. Being tested is never wasted time when perceived with hopeful eyes. Shaking is never a downward spiral. Instead, it is but to shake off the unecessary load to take us higher and soar like eagles above the storm.

Everything is with a significant purpose that is postured to change us from faith to faith, from strength to strength, from glory to glory. With God, we can never remain the same. He is a God Who is all the while effectually at work in us, creating in us the power and desire both to will and to do all for His own satisfaction, pleasure and delight. It is not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of God.

YES, you and I will arise! In Christ we will shine! What was once seemingly a set back becomes a set up for His greater glory. Jesus won it all for us. He has overcome the world and called us overcomers and more than conquerors in Him.

So, the next time we face an opposition, we COUNT IT ALL JOY! It is in adversity where we will discover WHO OWNS US and LOVES US much more than we can think, dream or imagine. SURELY and ONLY His GOODNESS and MERCY shall pursue us all the days of our lives just because we are HIS PRECIOUS POSSESIONS whom He loves.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You, for Jesus! Thank You for withholding nothing from us in pursuit of Your beloveds, for us to know You and trust You for Who You are. Thank You, Holy Spirit for unveiling the truth of our identity, being sons and daughter of the Most High God, greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved. Truly, our victory lies in our redeemed identity IN CHRIST! Amen!

Better Together!

No one is a complete body.  The Body of Christ encompasses all of us living the blessed life that He has prearranged for us to live.  We are distinctively gifted and anointed IN CHRIST to fulfill who He called us to be yet unified in His love for one purpose, and that is to be loved by Him, to love Him back by loving our neighbors the very way He loves us.

“But as it is, God has placed and arranged the limbs and organs in the body, each [particular one] of them, just as He wished and saw fit and with the best adaptation.”  (1 Corinthians 12:18 AMPC)

The Potter’s Hand Of Love

Both challenges and breakthroughs are divine tools to shape us to the best version of us. Like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are we in His hand.  See every present situation in the light of His presence and such revelation will cause a shift in our hearts to rest in Him knowing that all things work together for our good.

“So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.” (Romans 8:28 TPT)

His Home Is You!

“Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” John 14:23 NKJV

It is by grace through faith we make ourselves His home.

Faith is the doorway that we open, allow and welcome Jesus into our hearts as His home. We are the ones who make Him sit on the throne of our hearts and it is our choice to crown Him as the King and Lord of our lives.
