Set The Tenor Of Your Day

Many of us think that to be updated with everything with what’s going on around us is the first thing that we should do as soon as we wake up. I am not saying we shouldn’t be currently informed. What I’m saying is that we should know our priorities and what is most beneficial to us. His Word says, “All things are legitimate [permissible—and we are free to do anything we please], but not all things are helpful (expedient, profitable, and wholesome). All things are legitimate, but not all things are constructive [to character] and edifying [to spiritual life].” (1 Corinthians 10:23 AMPC)

It’s A New Day

Sometimes the things that were not good nor beneficial that happened in the past surprisingly pop up. It may be in our thoughts or even in our dreams. But, one thing that we get to be thankful for is the power of the Blood of Jesus that washed us, cleansed us and made us as white as snow. His Blood made the way for us to be NEW CREATIONS in Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW CREATION; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)

Connectedness

“Never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.” (Matthew 28:20 TPT)

When God gives us a promise, He is more than willing and able to fulfill it.  More so, He is faithful to do it and make it good.  That’s a definite!   He is not just more than willing and able to do it, but He is more than willing and able to do it FOR YOU and FOR ME.  This intimate truth is a PLUS when we are fully persuaded in our hearts.

Hope In God’s Love

“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
on those who hope in His steadfast love.”  (Psalm 33:18 ESV)

The word “HOPE” in the world’s view is something unsure.  But, Biblical HOPE is a confident expectation or a joyful anticipation that something good is about to break forth because we have a GOOD GOD Who is faithfully committed to our good.  We have a GOOD GOD Who is true to His Word. What He says, He surely will do. We have a GOOD GOD Whose love never fails, never runs out and never gives up on us.  We have a GOOD GOD Whose promises are yes and amen!  We have GOOD GOD Whose eyes are constantly looking out for those whom He loves, those who receive His love and those who respond to His love.  “We love because He first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

Look at this tree, it is leafless and looks lifeless because it is winter time, yet there is a confident hope within us that the leaves would soon sprout when the season changes. Why? Because it is created by the Creator to do so. It may look dead at this point in time, but because its roots are deeply rooted to the underground source of water, it is still alive.

Thanksgiving, Praise and Worship

Enter with the password: “Thank you!”
Make yourselves at home, talking praise.
Thank him. Worship him.”  (Psalm 100:4 MSG)

Yes, His Word says, “Enter His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise.”  But have you ever asked yourself why?  Why do our church gatherings start with thanksgiving, praise and worship?  Do we do this in our private time of prayer?

His Eyes, My Eyes

“I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go; I will guide you with My eye.” (Psalm 32:8)

Have you noticed that sometimes our eyes get directed into something that needs our utmost attention at that particular moment? This happens a lot to me especially while I’m driving. It occurs in a split-second where His eye guides my eye where I should look to keep me safe. Then, in an instant, that very moment becomes an altar of thanksgiving. Thank You, Jesus.

I Will Build You

When angel Gabriel appeared to Mary who was found highly favored by the Lord and spoke to her of what will become of her, chosen to be the Mother of Son of the Highest, she was deeply troubled over the words of the angel and bewildered over what this may mean for her. Yet, even when those words were beyond her comprehension, “Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to Thy word.” (Luke 1:38)

The Indwelling

Many think that God is at a distance from us.

Many think that sometimes He hears us and sometimes not.

Many think that sometimes He sees us and sometimes not.

BUT THE GOOD NEWS IS, the mystery of Christ IN US, the hope of glory has been revealed.

“HE decided to make known to them HIS blessing to the nations; the glorious riches of this mystery is the INDWELLING of the Anointed IN YOU! The very hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27 VOICE)

The Passion Translation says, LIVING WITHIN YOU IS THE CHRIST Who floods you with the expectation of glory! This mystery of Christ, embedded within us, becomes a heavenly treasure chest of hope filled with the riches of glory for His people, and God wants everyone to know it!”
