You Are Celebrated!

Do you know that IN CHRIST, we are always celebrated each time we come before our Heavenly Father’s throne?

Look at this powerful scripture …

“And NOW – all glory to Him Who along is God, who saves us through Jesus Christ our Lord; yes, splendor and majesty, all power and authority are His from the beginning, His they are and His they evermore shall be.  And He is able to keep you from slipping and falling away, and to bring you, sinless and perfect, into His glorious presence with mighty shouts of everlasting joy.”  (Jude 1:24-25 TLB)

Gone are the days when we used to examine ourselves and our own doings if we are worthy enough to come before His presence.  Glory to our King and Savior Jesus Christ!

Because of our Heavenly Father’s great and steadfast love that was powerfully demonstrated in the life, sacrificial death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, all the requirements and conditions of the law for us to draw near to the throne of His presence were fully satisfied.  We are no longer, by our own effort, essentially obligated to do the listed rituals to qualify.  Jesus said, “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them”  (Matthew 5:17).  He brought the law to its intended purpose and showed us how real life is to be lived for with its deeper spiritual meaning in obedience to God’s perfect will.

Jesus is the The Door that ended our pursuit in earning righteousness.  In love, He introduced grace, where God’s approval of us became unearned, undeserved and unmerited.  Our Lord Jesus did it all so you and I can COME BOLDLY before the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find grace in time of need anytime, anywhere.

At His death, when He cried out, “It is finished!”, the veil was torn from top to bottom, making the Holy of holies where His presence tabernacled accessible to those who believe, receive and acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior.  This is our inheritance, to confidently enter in and be greatly celebrated.

When I came across this verse that I mentioned earlier, “And He is able to keep you from slipping and falling away, and to bring you, sinless and perfect, into His glorious presence with mighty shouts of everlasting joy.”, my heart leaped with exceeding joy.  There were numerous times when I felt unworthy to come near His throne in prayer because I fell short of His glory.  I knew I wasn’t patient enough that day or I may have spoken some undesirable/unnecessary words.  You see, every time we miss the mark, the enemy who is the accuser of the brethren will bombard our thoughts with accusations reinforced with condemnation.  But, we are called not to be ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11).  We have to be quick to recognize his cunning strategies lest we succumb into them and be condemned.  Praise the Lord that the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us quickens us to perceive by the power of the revelation of His Word to outwit him.  Left on our own, we can do nothing.  But, when we abide in Christ and let His Word abide in us, divine wisdom empowers us to fight a good fight of faith and say, “There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1)

These are “weapons of our warfare that are mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.” (2 Corinthians 10:4-5)

Armed with this revelation, my approach to His throne shifted into a much more exciting and exceedingly joyful encounter knowing that I will always be celebrated with great shouts of ecstatic delight, unspeakable and everlasting joy because Jesus presents me before the throne of God’s glory blameless, faultless, pure and holy through His precious blood.  Hallelujah!

Then, I asked the Lord, “How do You celebrate us when we come to fellowship with You?”

He said (with an unction from deep within), “Just as how the father was when his prodigal son came to his senses and returned home.  The father was always on a lookout, earnestly expectant for his son to come home and when he finally did, the father ran toward the son, embraced him, kissed him, and reinstated his sonship with the ring, robe and sandals WITHOUT CONDEMNATION.  And then, he was celebrated with a fatted calf feast.”  Oh wow!

How wonderful it is when He speaks to us with His divine counsel that is mighty in power to cast out our unrenewed thinking and fills us with peace and joy where the love of our Heavenly Father is tangibly felt. What a feast indeed when we live our lives not just by bread alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

You treat me to a feast, while my enemies watch.” (Psalm 23:5 CEV)

“They feast on the abundance of Your house;
    You give them drink from Your river of delights.
For with You is the fountain of life;
    in Your light we see light.”  (Psalm 36:8-9 NIV)

I so love what Pastor Nancy Dufresne said, “We come to His presence by turning and not by earning.”

Yes, we step in into this powerful reality of being celebrated every time we turn our attention and affection toward our risen Savior.  THANK YOU, JESUS!

This is one of the reasons why we celebrate Christmas!  IN CHRIST we are celebrated in His presence always. Let us also then be reminded to always CELEBRATE our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s birth for apart from Him having been born into the world, only hopelessness awaits us.

God had a glorious plan for His own all along. He gave us His Son to be born even before the foundation of the world as our Living Hope ♥️. He was born to die so we may have and enjoy life and have it more abundantly.

“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, CounselorMighty God,
Everlasting FatherPrince of Peace.”  (Isaiah 9:6)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me unconditionally.  Your steadfast love was sealed for me to explore, experience and enjoy in the Person of Your Son, Jesus Christ.  Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your finished work that always and forever qualifies me to be welcomed and celebrated in the throne of God’s glory.  Thank You, Holy Spirit, for unveiling my eyes to this truth that in Christ alone I am greatly celebrated and deeply loved.  Amen!
