Who Am I?

The shaking of this world is not to destroy us but to awaken us to who He created us to be, and that is nothing less than according to God’s image and likeness! The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have and enjoy life in abundance, to the full, till it OVERFLOWS. (John 10:10)

Know that we have an enemy in this fallen world. But this evil, genius, prince of this world has NO MATCH compared to our Lord Jesus Christ Who is the PRINCE OF PEACE! He is NOT the opposite of God. He is only a creative being who is toothless and fangless, disarmed and defeated, yet he roars like a lion seeking whom he may devour.

Therefore, DO NOT BE IGNORANT of his schemes. BE ARMED with the KNOWLEDGE, WISDOM and REVELATION of the Word God that is the sword of our spirits.

Be fully persuaded that he is a DEFEATED FOE and remember that we DO NOT FIGHT one that has been DEFEATED 2000 years ago! We keep him in his position of defeat under our feet as we constantly and consistently keep our eyes on Jesus Christ Who WON IT ALL for us. All we need to do is walk out what has been accomplished at the cross and stand firm, fighting a good and beautiful fight of faith FROM the victory that has been won!

But, KNOW as well that nothing is automatic! Free will was given. The Lord prepares a feast for us in the presence of our enemies (Psalm 23:5), but it is us who choose to go to the table and partake of what has been prepared. The battle now lies in our minds. Do we really believe what Jesus did at the cross? Do we really believe that the enemy is defeated and that you and I have been declared VICTORIOUS? Do we really believe this GOOD NEWS?

Jesus paid for our sin ONCE AND FOR ALL in which the curses that come with it are sickness and disease, lack and poverty and its wages is death! Therefore, once forgiven by the power of His Blood, we have been JUSTIFIED (declared just as if we have NOT SINNED and have FULLY OBEYED all the law because of Jesus fulfilled them ALL), and ALL the curses and wages of sin have been PAID FOR, PAYMENT REMITTED when HE said, “IT IS FINISHED!”

What then are we waiting for? Our position IN CHIRST is to be seated in the heavenly realms FAR ABOVE principality, power, dominion and might! He created us to emanate His glory that He has given us as His sons and daughters who are to walk in the likeness of Him Who Himself is glorious!

The world is GROANING for the REVEALING SONS OF GOD to take our true and rightful place, CALLED TO SUBDUE the earth! We are born to reign in life as kings. That means we are to rule the earth with a servants’ heart of God’s love flowing in and through us, equipped and empowered by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in us and backed up by all that heaven has.

ARE WE READY?

Jesus is the Light of the world. But before He left, He called us the salt and light of the earth.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew‬ ‭5:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Do you know that when light is turned on in a room, we do not look at the light, but the light is there to give us the enabling power to SEE? As Jesus shines brightly in and through us, our perception changes. He opens our eyes to see what He sees and directs our steps to move accordingly. Indeed, apart from being born again in the spirit, we CANNOT SEE the kingdom of God.

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3)

Seeing requires light. Haven’t you noticed a night without lights? Darkness blinds us. We are very restricted to move lest we get hurt. I so believe in our needfulness of Jesus Christ, Who is the Light of the world. IN HIM is no darkness at all and when we experience what it means to be in His presence where confusion is displaced by clarity, it puts our hearts to rest.

‬‬If we are called the salt and LIGHT of the world, what then are we supposed to do?

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may SEE your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew‬ ‭5:15-16‬ ‬)

More often than not, we think that the only ones who carry this Light are those in ministry in church. Yes they do, but not limited to. Hmmmm … YOU and I are the church! How then will the knowledge of the glory of the Lord FILL THE EARTH as the waters cover the sea if we perceive things this way? The five-fold ministry (apostles, pastors, evangelists, prophets and teachers) is there to equip us for the great commission in which we are ALL called to, in our own God-custom-made way. We all have a purpose and a destiny to fulfill.

Walking in the light of His presence allows us to see those He calls us to touch, protect and empower. Just as the good Samaritan did, who stopped for the wounded, we are summoned to walk the same way. We are to celebrate with those who are celebrating and mourn with those who do. What we do to those around us fueled by God’s love and compassion qualifies us to be the answer to someone’s need. Something good done is God’s glory manifested through us. Never underestimate the things that we do or say, from the least to the greatest.

A smile.

A tap on one’s shoulder.

A hug.

A text message.

A phone call.

A hello.

A treat for a meal.

A word of encouragement.

An embrace of comfort.

A gift that makes one think WILD … may it be an all expenses paid trip abroad, a new car, a new house, hmmmm … (I’ll give your imagination a room to explore and think what you can give and imagine the recipient’s reaction 😀😀😀)! That SURELY will make your day glorious let alone the receiver’s. Truly, when we refresh others, we ourselves will be refreshed.

Kindness done in the name of God’s love goes further and farther than we think. See beyond the obvious, for the good things and good deeds that we physically see and experience are temporary but the unseen effect of it is eternal. It is the anointing of His presence in our lives that leaves a mark in the hearts of those whom we are called to bless which causes them to give thanks to the Author of our deeds.

“So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that the commendable things you do will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

This is Kingdom of God invasion wherein you and I are called to. This is “who I am” and this is “who YOU are”!

As we continuously yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit, we become rich in opportunities to enjoy being His hands, His feet, His mouthpieces that speak His word and bring change to those around us. When we do, we amplify not only our awareness of His presence in and through us, but we make Him known to those who are yet to discover Who our Father is and how good He is, what Jesus has finished at the cross and experience the unending fellowship of the Holy Spirit where freedom abounds.

You and I are glory carriers of His kingdom. And His kingdom is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).
