“Then he said, “Don’t be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day you began to pray for understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your request has been heard in heaven. I have come in answer to your prayer.” (Daniel 10:12 NLT)

We all approach the throne of God in prayer and many of those that we prayed for have not come to fruition yet.  The challenge is in the waiting when we see that nothing is changing.  It may seem a permanent obstacle, but the good news is that our HOPE is in the One Who never disappoints.  We need to shift our focus from the bigness of our problem that is temporary to the bigness of our God Who is eternal.  We choose to walk by faith and not by sight.  We go by what the Lord our God promised us in His Word.  We need to be fully persuaded that the very moment we made known our requests to God, He heard our cry and surely His answers are on the way.  So, fear not, little flock.   We rest in His everlasting love and faithfulness.

When we decide to walk God’s ways, it is imperative to have godly wisdom.  God’s thoughts and ways are higher than ours, but the Holy Spirit Who is resident in us reveals them to us what it is vitally needed at the perfect time.  He makes known to us the path of life.  He orders our steps.  What makes us utterly in wonder is when He busies Himself with our every step. 

“The steps of a [good] man are directed and established by the Lord when He delights in his way [and He busies Himself with his every step].” (Psalm 37:23 AMPC)

God is pleased when we walk by faith.  He is pleased when we believe Him.  He is pleased when we regard His Word as our final authority, not subject to debate nor to be considered in equality to the opinions of men.  He is pleased when we believe that Jesus Christ came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.  He is pleased when we trust Him with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding and as we acknowledge Him in all of our ways, He will definitely direct our path.  His Word says, without faith, it is impossible to please God.  

“But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].” (Hebrews 11:6 AMPC)

Seeking God is the utmost prayer that you and I should press on.  It is in seeking Him that godly wisdom is obtained.  It is in hungering and thirsting for Him that we get filled in and satisfied.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” (James 1:5-8)

Double-mindedness is a major problem.  It is a complete and total forfeit of our stability and ability to receive confidently from God what we ask in prayer.  Double-mindedness is of two contradictory and competitive minds in which we are not called to be.  However, we live in world that literally teaches us that what we see is real and what we do not see is not.  This world’s system is only limited to what we perceive with our physical senses, thus, hopelessness is rampant.  His Word says, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when the desire comes, it is a tree of life.” (Proverbs 13:12)

The scripture teaches us, first of all, that “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” (Hebrews 11:3 KJV)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)

“All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made.” (John 1:3 KJV)

Nothing was made other than by the Word of God and the Word is not visible.  Everything that we see was birthed from the realm that is unseen.  So the real authority is not the realm of the seen.  The real authority is the realm of the unseen.  This is the very reason why we go by faith and not by sight and living by faith is what pleases God.

Faith is not equal to fiction just because it is unseen.  It is different from fantasy.  It is not made up.  It is based on the SOURCE, the Word of God, the Truth of the invisible.   Faith is having a revelation, that what we have seen in our hearts is something that is behind and beyond the obvious.   It is a lot like a SEED.

When you see a seed, it is small and insignificant.  You do not look in that seed and see forests, but does that seed have the potential of birthing forests?  It sure does, though it depends on what kind of seed it is.  You do not look at the seed and see a forest, but you just know the source of what comes after.  And if you are a farmer or someone educated in that arena, then you understand the worth of what you looking at, and you recognize the potential of what you are looking at.  With this in mind, you are not making up fantasy stories by believing that by planting the seed you are going to reap a harvest out of the seed.  It is based on truth.  You have to have a revelation that something like this happens.

Did you ever experience sowing a seed into the ground?  I have.  Yes, I watered it and took care of it.  With it buried and invisible, out of curiousity, I checked on it every single day.  This gesture does not make me or other people that did the same way think that we are out of our minds.  We all know and very well expectant that seeds sown into the ground will sprout and grow.  It’s uncanny for us to think that when we sow seeds, we won’t just bother what happens next. We have sown intentionally, therefore we expect to see what the outcome will be.

Faith is exactly the same thing.  Believing in God is not like believing in a fictionary being.  GOD IS REAL.  When we believe that God exists and He is a Rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, then, we just signed ourselves up to a faith-adventure like no other, for faith is rooted and grounded on the Truth that cannot be shaken.  The scripture says, “Your word, O LORD, is everlasting; it is firmly fixed in the heavens.” (Psalm 118:89 Berean Study Bible).  It says, “The grass withers, the flower fades,
But the word of our God stands forever.” (Isaiah 40:8)

I always have this desire to sow divine seeds of prayer because I so believe that we are called to diffuse the fragrance of God’s love, mercy, grace and truth in word and in deed.  We are the body of Christ anointed and empowered to fill the earth with the knowledge of His glory  as the waters cover the sea.  Many times they are deep unctions in my heart.  I may know them or not.  I may have just simply seen them at a distance, or maybe I saw photograph of them, or could someone I see on the screen.  It could be when I hear or see an ambulance or even seeing an aircraft take off.  I believe that prayers have no boundaries, what to pray or not to pray.  The Holy Spirit is always there to help us.

“A similar thing happens when we pray.  We are weak and do not know how to pray, so the Spirit steps in and articulates prayers for us with groaning too profound for words.  Don’t you know that He who pursues and explores the human heart intimately knows the Spirit’s mind because He pleads to God for His saints to align their lives with the will of God?  We are confident that God is able to orchestrate everything to work toward something good and beautiful when we love Him and accept His invitation to live according to His plan.” (Romans 8:26-28 Voice)

Three decades ago, I had this wonderful house help.  She was with me for a few years and during those times, I used to share with her my personal revelations of God’s Word and the prayers that I normally do.  I taught her the Power of the Blood of Jesus.  I brought her to church and to my Bible studies as well.  

When it was time for her to spread her wings and pursue a different path which I believe God ordained for her, I released her with my blessing. 

A few days ago, I surprisingly got a message from her who is currently residing in Canada with her husband and two kids that she was coming home for a month-long vacation.   Yesterday, I  excitedly got the chance to meet them at their hotel.   Unexpectedly, she showered me with gifts and kept thanking me for the time she was with me.   

More than anything, what made my heart melt was when she told me how and what she taught her husband and children the revelations and prayers that I shared with her before.  She mentioned them one by one and I was listening to her, there was only one word that I was powerfully  reminded of … “SEED”, THE INCORRUPTIBLE SEED OF GOD’S WORD.   

His Word never fails, never dies, never decays and is never subject to corruption.  It is living, powerful and everlasting.  It is the same yesterday, today and forever.   It goes from generation to generation as we train up a child in the way he should go so that when he grows old, he will not depart from it.

“For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the ^[a]breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12 AMPC)

Let us therefore be reminded that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.   But God Who is rich in mercy and abounding in love has graced us to be single-minded on the truth of God’s Word.  A single-minded person is the one who knows Who is King above all else.  There is not an option for failure for failure is defined as the separation from the victory that Jesus sealed and secured for us.

Yes, there may be a factual challenges, but what we see as facts still do not have the authority over us.  They may stare at us eyeball to eyeball, but we still have the choice to make them submit to the King of kings and Lord of lords.  They are not in-charge that call the shots when you and I choose to take them captive into the obedience of Christ.

There may be symptoms in our bodies, addictions, financial challenges, identity crisis or whatever it is that is confronting us, but they are not to overcome what our Jesus, or Lord and Savior, has paid for, accomplished, done and dealt at the cross.  The enemy has whispers of his lying opinions to negate what Jesus suffered, died and resurrected for.  But the truth of the matter is, WHAT JESUS CAME FOR, HE FINISHED.  We have been declared victorious for He overcame the world of its power to harm us and have conquered it for us.  He made us more than conquerors in Him.

Keep sowing and declaring the Word of God, for it is in His Word with Whom and from Whom we gain a godly perspective that will cause our hearts to rest in what He finished.  Instead of doubting while waiting for the manifestations of His promises that are YES and AMEN, we bombard ourselves with His truth for all the forces of darkness cannot stop what God promised us  from coming to pass.  We sow into our own hearts with words of prayer and sow into other people’s lives the same way.  His Words are spirit and life and are not subject to time and space.  They are like Jesus-Blood-Dipped-Polished Arrows that penetrate into our innermost being and into the ones we are praying for.  They are incorruptible seeds that are meant to bear much fruit.

Just as what the angel told Daniel that the very moment he prayed  his prayers were heard and that he was there to deliver the answer, the very same way God promised that when we call upon Him, He will answer us and show us great and mighty things that we do not know. 

“NOW this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”  (1 John 5:14-15)

Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Jesus, the One Whom You sent to seal us in Your perfect love.  In Him we Your precious possessions,  the apple of Your eye and the object of Your attention and affection.  Thank You that we can boldly come into Your throne of grace, to obtain mercy and find grace in our time of need, always welcomed and embraced.  Thank You, Jesus, for Your finished work that makes us confident that every time we call upon Your Name, You are more than ready to meet our needs according to Your glorious riches.  Thank You, Holy Spirit, for always showing us the path of life and revealing to us more of Who Jesus is.  The more we know Him, the more we know who we are, for as He is, so are we in this world.  Amen!
