2024 Merry Christmas ♥️

“For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6)

And so, Christmas is here once again.

Just as in the Old Testament when they had certain feasts that were celebrated annually to keep afresh their significance, this is also true for us.  Christmas is one monumental occasion celebrated worldwide that is meant to keep us on track and never lose our wonder of having Jesus Christ as our King.

May this season be another reminder of how high, how deep, how wide and how long the love of God is for mankind that He gave His only Beloved and Begotten Son to become the Son of Man, so that we, we, as sons and daughters of men, may become sons and daughters of the Most High God.  What glorious divine exchange indeed!

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God!”  (1John 3:1)

May this season be not just act of tradition or religion that voids the gospel of power for us to live a victorious life.  Instead, may this be weighty and purposeful.  Jesus is the Light of the world and we who receive Him as Lord and Savior, walk in the Light of His marvelous presence always.

It is He Who is the Tree of Life from Whom our strength and nourishment come from. When Adam ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, deceived that he will be like God when he does, he missed it and his disobedience cascaded to all generations. But thanks be to God Who is rich in mercy and abounding in love that when Jesus came, at the Garden of Gethsemane, He redeemed our sin of disobedience when He said to The Father, “Not My will but Yours be done!”. He demonstrated the ultimate submission to God’s will that led Him to die a criminal’s death so that you and I now, with our right standing with God through the Blood of Jesus Christ, the Tree of Life has been made available for our utmost benefit.

It is He Who keeps us from stumbling for His Word is the Lamp upon our feet and the Light upon our path.  A well-lit trail keeps us from tripping and faltering. Yet, if we do, His hand is not short to reach us and lift us up.

It is He who keeps us from fear, for it is His perfect love that casts it out.  When we know how much He loves us, peace that surpasses all understanding fills our hearts even in the midst of utmost turmoil.  He, still, is greater in us than he who is in this world.

It is He Who keeps us from being depressed, stressed and oppressed, for His divine power resident in us in the presence of the Holy Spirit has GIVEN us ALL THINGS that pertain to life and godliness in our knowledge of Him Who called us by His own glory and excellence.

It is He Who keeps us company always.  He shows Himself strong and mighty as we acknowledge Him in all our ways.  You see, when I saw in social media the Auroa Borealis being displayed over more number of places than before, I perceived it in a way that the Only One Who is capable of doing this, God the Creator of all, is showing Himself and the splendor of His beauty to us, relaying His message that He is with us always. Amidst this chaotic world lies above us the mighty and wonderful work of His hands. Although I haven’t physically seen one yet, I used to wonder … “What must be in the minds of those who witnessed His glory through this?”  He must have been saying to us, “LOOK UP and SEE what only I can do! Do not be caught up too much with the cares of this world, for I care for you affectionately and watchfully.” These are invitations for us to be aware of how mindful He is of us. When our attention and affection are set on Him, it changes us.  Our awareness of His presence fills us with fullness of joy.

What is being powerfully revealed to me lately which is so timely for this season to meditate on is the revelation that it is He Who presents us faultless, blameless and perfect before our Heavenly Father WITH EXCEEDING JOY.

Now to Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling,
And to present you faultless
Before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy,
To God our Savior,
Who alone is wise,
Be glory and majesty,
Dominion and power,
Both now and forever.
Amen.  (Jude 1:24-25)

For the joy that was set before Him, He endured the cross, with you and I in His heart and mind, that when He said “It is finished!” at the cross, He procured everything for us, withholding nothing. Name it … healing & wholeness, peace, joy, love, prosperity, unity, and everything else that you can dare dream, think or imagine, according to His will, we have them!!!  He withholds nothing from us.  In truth, He gave us everything when He gave Himself to us, for in Him all things consist. Nothing was made that was made apart from Him. Oh how great is His love for us.

Jesus was born to die so that we may live the kind of life that He created for us to have, a nothing-missing, nothing-broken, nothing-lacking life, when we choose to believe and receive Him, the GIFT of Heaven, with all the fullness of God.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You for greatly loving me and giving me Your most Beloved Son Jesus.  Jesus, I believe that You are the GIFT that was given and sent for me that I may have and enjoy life, and have it more abundantly.  I am here to receive You today as the most wonderful GIFT given to me, for with You and in You is the fullness of God.  Thank You for shedding Your blood to cleanse me and make me blameless.  Be my Lord and Savior.  Be my Light and my Deliverer.  Be my Healer and Provider.  Be my Shepherd and Shield.  Be my all in all.  Thank You, Holy Spirit, for revealing Who Jesus is, how great is His love, what He finished at the cross and who I am before His eyes as His precious prized possession.  Amen!
