Confidently KNOW WHO WE ARE IN CHRIST. Ignorance costs but revelation knowledge is power.
We are seated IN CHRIST in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6) far above principality, power, dominion and might. This means that as we posture our thoughts and ways above the snake line, we are unreachable by the lies of the accuser of the brethren. We live by faith and not by sight. We live by the unseen realm of God’s kingdom in us meant not be tossed to and fro by the chaos of what we see but steadfast on the firm foundation of the finished work of Jesus Christ. This is our kingdom reality.
We are strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, armed with the FULL ARMOR OF GOD that we may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (Ephesians 6:13). We have the HELMET of salvation, the BREASTPLATE of righteousness, the SHIELD of faith, the BELT of truth, the SANDALS of peace and the SWORD of our spirits which is the Word of God.
We are victors, overcomers and more than conquerors IN CHRIST. It is HE WHO always causes us to TRIUMPH! It is NOT BY MIGHT nor by power, but by the Spirit of God! It is BY GRACE lest we boast! And because it is God Who always marches us to victory under the banner of the Anointed One, we are always in a win-win situation. IN HIM there is NO DEFEAT. Therefore how can we be defeated when we are IN HIM and HE in us? Indeed, greater is HE WHO is in us than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We are diffusers and distribution centers of His goodness here on earth as we get filled, flooded and immersed in His presence. Through us He spreads the beautiful fragrance of His knowledge to every corner of the earth. In a turbulent world where people are either dying or being rescued, we are the sweet smell of the Anointed to God our Father (2 Corinthians 2:14-15). We carry HOPE, a confident expectation that something good is at hand because our God is good!
We are NOT to live our lives just as if Jesus has done nothing! If we do, then we esteem our Heavenly Father to be cruel enough to crucify His only beloved and begotten Son, Jesus Christ, for nothing. NO! We have a loving and purposeful God and the very purpose why He sent Jesus is for us to be freed from the power and authority of the enemy by becoming sin HE WHO KNEW NO SIN that we may become the righteousness of God in Christ. He came to destroy the works of the devil. He came to give us life and have it more abundantly. He came that we may KNOW Who our Heavenly Father is and how much He loves us. Oh how He longs for us to know Him intimately, but only through Jesus Christ will this be made possible. No one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
We are to confidently know that His plans are always for our good, NEVER to harm us, but to give us a hope and a beautiful future (Jeremiah 29:11). He gave us the resurrected power of Christ in the presence of the Holy Spirit as our Counselor, our Comforter, our Helper, our Intercessor, our Advocate, our Strengthener and our Standby, so we can no longer be subject to wiles of the enemy. Instead, we are to be confident and be fully persuaded that IN CHRIST we may have PERFECT PEACE. In the world we have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration, but we are called to be of GOOD CHEER [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For HE has overcome the world. [He has deprived it of power to harm us and have conquered it for us.] (John 16:33 AMPC)
We are always to remind ourselves that because we are IN CHRIST, the enemy has NO MATCH against us as we believe in the truth of what Jesus has spoken …. “that the enemy has no claim on Me. [He has nothing in common with Me; there is nothing in Me that belongs to him, and he has no power over Me.]” (John 14:30 AMPC)
ALL power and authority was taken back by Jesus Christ when He said, “It Is Finished!”. If HE has it ALL, then the enemy has NONE at all. But nothing is automatic in the Kingdom of God. We are to KNOW Who HE is, what He has done, who we are IN HIM and what He has given to us. Indeed, people perish due to lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Thus, we are to keep this Book of the Law always on our lips; meditate on it day and night, so that we may be careful to do everything written in it. Then we will be prosperous and successful.” (Joshua 1:8 NIV)
The whole Bible speaks of our heavenly identity and if we dig in deeply to know who we really are, they are innumerable. Just imagine the BIGNESS of our God and His Word says HE IS MINDFUL of us.
“What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?” (Psalm 8:4 NKJV)
If His mind is FULL of His countless thoughts of us that is more than the sand in the sea, do you ever wonder what HE is thinking of about you, about me RIGHT AT THIS VERY MOMENT? And He not only thinks of and about us, but He desires to make them known to us.
“But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.” (I Corinthians 2:9-10 NKJV)
Let our identity be established on the Word of God that is the same yesterday, today and forever. Let it not be defined by the opinions of men nor the challenges that we are facing that are temporary. You and I are sons and daughters of the Most High God, greatly blessed, highly favored and deeply loved by our Heavenly Father.
Blessed be the name of the Lord. I am loved. I am His
