“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.   And you shall KNOW the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall make you FREE.” John 8:31-32 NKJV

I was walking one night listening to one of my favorite preachers in my ipod.  At that point in time, I was digging deep into getting some revelations on healing.  Then, I heard these words … “and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32 NKJV).  Oh how those words resonated in my heart!  They were magnified among all the words spoken in that preaching!

I know that the vastness of the knowledge of God being our Jehovah Rapha (The Lord that heals) is inexhaustible, but I know, too, that eating a crumb out of the Master’s table has such a tremendous effect.  It freed a cruelly demon-possessed daughter of the Syrophoenician Woman.  Not just that, she was told be a woman of great faith by Jesus and that what she wished for was IMMEDIATELY done!  In The Message Translation it says …”RIGHT THEN!” or in The Amplified …”FROM THAT MOMENT!” (Matthew 15:21-28).  This talks about the speedily of God!

When our undaunted, mountain-moving faith on the ability and willingness of God to heal collides with His meteoric love powerfully demonstrated by the finished work of Jesus Christ at the cross, a miracle is inescapable.  It is the kind of faith even as small as a mustard seed can command a mountain to move.  It is a “child-like” faith fully persuaded of the greatness of God’s love for us.

“I’m telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you’re not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will RANK HIGH in God’s kingdom.”  Matthew 17:3-4 MSG

It is when our believing bypasses our limited human intellect to see what has been said in the Word.   When little children are told to do something, most often than not, they’ll just do it.  When boys pretend to be supermen and fathers tell them to jump, they just jump fully trusting their fathers to catch them because they know how much they are loved, taken care of and looked after.   Fathers don’t desire their children to get hurt but will do anything for their safety.  That’s love.

One of the powerful truths on healing is that God mostly desires it because He deeply loves you and me.  He gave us His Son Jesus Christ to suffer so that by His stripes we were healed!

“But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And BY HIS STRIPES WE WERE HEALED.”  Isaiah 53:5 NKJV

We WERE healed even before we got the sickness!  The rapidity, the swiftness, the immediacy of the healing is supposedly as fast as His love that is METEORIC, moving extremely fast!   A shooting star is meteoric, being a meteor that is burning up so speedily as it plunges through the earth’s atmosphere that you can barely catch it.  It is a heaven on earth invasion that happens in a blink of an eye.

God loves us too much to meet us where we’re at faster than we can ever think.  He said, to call on HIM and He will answer us, and SHOW us great and mighty things which we do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV)  And to top it all, He loves us too much to leave us the way He found us.  His arms are not short to reach us and pluck us out from the miry clay and set our feet on the solid rock and gave us a firm place to stand.  Jesus already stretched out His arms ever ready to receive us into His unfailing, unconditional healing love.  And when we get into the secret place where only His goodness, His mercy, His grace, His peace, His righteousness, in totality HIMSELF is found, healing flows.

Jesus is The WAY, The TRUTH and The LIFE.  When we experientially know Jesus, Who is the exact representation of The Father, Who is ONE with the Father, Who suffered, died and resurrected, conquered the grave where death has lost its sting ALL BECAUSE OF HIS GREAT LOVE, then FREEDOM flows. Freedom from sickness and disease manifests!

It is in the KNOWLEDGE of TRUTH that sets us free!  Jesus is the TRUTH therefore knowing Jesus sets us FREE.  The Spirit of wisdom and revelation comes from the knowledge of Who Jesus is.  It is in knowing what He did positioned us to receive, the divine exchange that He made available for us to partake.   And whom the Son sets FREE is FREE indeed!
