It’s been quite sometime since the last time I sat down and took my own sweet time to chill.  Busyness seems to catch up all the time that creates depravity from me getting into a place where I can be alone with my Beloved in a green, breezy environment simply looking out of the window and enjoy the simplicity of life.

But in the midst of being occupied, as my heart yearned to take time and allow myself to be loved by Him in a freshly green atmosphere, He heard my heart’s desire.  No, I didn’t drive to go out of town for it but He made me put on my running shoes and walk in a cool breezy night with cloudy skies.  And so I walked while listening to worship songs until I got to catch a couple of lines from one song that shoot adrenalin into my body.  “I feel it in my bones, You’re about to move!  I feel it in the wind, You’re about to ride in!”  Oh wow … I put on repeat track for the whole duration of my walking session and found myself joyful from deep within. Simple it may seem but it was one powerful love language that touched my heart at that very point in time.

I came home, had my tea and browsed my facebook.  Lo and behold, I saw this 3-yr old adorable little girl with her father running as they climbed towards the mountain top.  The view was so refreshingly spectacular just as where I desired to be.  It was full of huge green trees, breezy and with a beautiful view of a lake.  A little later the little one got tired and her father carried her on his shoulders and she started to sing a song that I never heard before.  Well, you may all know this song though … “My Heavenly Father Loves Me”.

The lyrics of the song so touched my heart that I thought to myself, “Oh wow, how MINDFUL YOU are of me.  Just as I desired, You brought it to me without delay.”

Whenever I hear the song of a bird
Or look at the blue, blue sky,
Whenever I feel the rain on my face
Or the wind as it rushes by,
Whenever I touch a velvet rose
Or walk by our lilac tree,
I’M GLAD THAT I LIVE IN THIS BEAUTIFUL WORLD
HEAV’NLY FATHER CREATED FOR ME.
He gave me my eyes that I might see
The color of butterfly wings.
He gave me my ears that I might hear

He gave me my life, my mind, my heart:
I thank Him rev’rently
For all His creations, of which I’m a part.
Yes, I know Heav’nly Father loves me.

I may haven’t gone anywhere nor even in my wildest thought I would be able to experience it within the four walls of my house, but our Daddy God brought the whole beautiful scene and breathed LIFE in it that it came so alive before my eyes.  I was surprisingly overwhelmed and refreshed!

Truly His thoughts and ways are higher than ours packaged infinitely beyond what we can dare, think, dream or imagine just to give us the desires of our hearts.  As we delight in Him, He takes us up into His frequency and opens our eyes to see them the very way He presents them, otherwise we will miss the very answer to the longings of our hearts.

Time is the most precious commodity we have in our hands.  It defines, determines and exposes the treasures of our hearts for what we love most, time is spent most in it.  Take time to be refreshed in His presence where the fullness of joy  is found.  Take time to quiet ourselves in the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father Who longs to lavish us with Himself.  Take time to stop to for Him.  Time is never wasted when His love is tasted.
