Jehovah Jireh, The Lord Will Provide!

God ALWAYS answers our prayer requests as long as they don’t violate His plans and purposes for our lives.   We may not know when and how, but our confidence comes from what He has spoken.

“Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.” (Jeremiah 33:3 MSG)

I was believing for provision to repaint my house for the past couple of years. I have been declaring favor upon favor, provision upon provision.

In the physical, merely looking at and banking on my bank account and my salary, it was next to impossibility.  BUT God is always true to His word that,God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us.” (Ephesians 3:20-21 MSG)

Instead of focusing on what I did not have, the Holy Spirit taught me to shift my focus on WHO I have Who is on my side at all times, our Almighty God and Father Whose provision always manifests, WHO is always on a lookout to show Himself strong where our weakness is.  He opened my eyes to see how timely the ram appeared with its horn caught in a thicket when Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac.  How His provision manifested at the perfect time for the perfect specific purpose.

Then Abraham lifted his eyes and looked, and there behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by its horns. So Abraham went and took the ram, and offered it up for a burnt offering instead of his son.  And Abraham called the name of the place, The-Lord-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the Lord it shall be provided.” (Genesis 22:13-14)

How He reminded me of the glorious miracle on how Jesus fed the multitude with just 5 barley loaves and two small fishes.  How He caused the fisherman’s boat to have a net-breaking, boat-sinking catch of fish. How the jar of oil never ran out until there were no more vessels to fill.  How Jesus turned water into wine by simply telling the servants to fill the jars with water and drawn from it was the choicest and the best of wines.  These are stories that we are to meditate and gravitate on to encourage ourselves in the Lord.

At one point, I have been asking the Lord to show me His goodness in an unprecedented way that is above and beyond what I can think or imagine.  His response was, “I will make ALL My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you.” (Exodus 33:19)

Surprisingly, a very good friend of mine asked me to find a buyer for her house that was for sale.  Honestly, I didn’t know how and where to start for I have never been into real estate.  As I was praying and was prompted to call my friend/neighbor whom the Lord pointed out as my partner for this hunt who never had an experience in this field as well.  And so, we communicated and started to advertise online.

There were many who responded to our ad but no one was seriously interested in it.  But, we chose to continue to advertise.  We continued to believe and declare.  We knew it in our hearts that this was for us even though the physical reality was against us.

After a month, one person was very interested.  But because the owner of the house did not have peace in her heart to deal with this person, the Lord made a way for us to exit graciously.  It was so awesome to witness how He closes the door without having anyone offended.

While waiting, the next thing we knew was that that owner herself had a direct buyer.  When she informed me about it and that the deal was already closed with the payment meeting already scheduled the next day, my heart was so at peace.  It was beyond comprehension. I was rejoicing from deep within me.  I celebrated the breakthrough of my friend who really wanted her property sold the soonest in spite of the fact that we will not have any referral fee.  My partner on the other hand when she came to know the status responded the same way as I did.  We both rejoiced!

What caught me off guard the very next day was when the owner called me up to say that the deal was cancelled.  There were no reasons spoken.  She just told me to put back the ad online.  I called up my partner and we again re-advertised.

Lo and behold, a family responded and was very interested in the property.  Twice they viewed the house and pursued us.  They wanted to pay in cash and process everything right away especially when they came to know that the owner of the house is a Christian as they were, too.

Then the Lord led me to find a broker who will process all the papers and yes, in an instant, there was someone positioned who was ready to help us.  She is a member of our church’s worship team, a friend of my friend, whom I just happened to have dinner a few nights before. Priase the Lord.

With God, nothing just happens. Nothing is a coincidence. Everything happens for a divine purpose. All things work together for our good.

Everything was set in motion with His divine orchestration.  It was bizarrely crazy speedily awesome! Before we could even believe what we saw, the deal was done and everything was paid for including our referral fees.  ALL GLORY AND PRAISE TO OUR FATHER WHO PROVIDES!  And NOW, the re-painting of my house is on going and is almost DONE!

In reality, our life is a journey of discovering and acknowledging His goodness all around us.  They surround us for we have already entered this glorious season where the veil that once covered our eyes have been lifted up when Jesus died at the cross.  It is one of the parallel realities when the 4-inch curtain that separated the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies was supernaturally torn from top to bottom when Jesus cried out “IT IS FINISHED!”  He unveiled our Heavenly Father’s goodness and made them experienceable for us to enjoy.  After all, Jesus came that we may HAVE and ENJOY life and have it MORE ABUNDANTLY!

With this awesome experience, it was not only my prayer that was answered. The owner who prayed for her house to be sold, it got sold speedily. The family who wanted to buy a house at a very good price, who was praying as well, got their prayers answered. My partner who was believing for financial breakthrough got hers. And the broker who was believing to have provision also got her share of the Lord’s goodness.

This is what Kingdom Invasion looks like. It didn’t just change my world, but it changed the world of those who were divinely connected to this breakthrough.

Believe and you shall see!  God is not a respecter of persons.  He is One Who is ever ready to pour out His blessings to those Who believe that WITH HIM, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!

“Yes indeed, it won’t be long now.” God’s Decree.  Things are going to happen so fast your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of the other. You won’t be able to keep up. Everything will be happening at once—and everywhere you look, blessings! Blessings like wine pouring off the mountains and hills. (Amos 9:13 MSG)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You, for unveiling our eyes to see Your goodness pass before us.  Thank You, Jesus, for paying the price that we may taste what it is like to be enfolded in the Kingdom of God where every need is met.  Thank You, Holy Spirit, for leading our steps.  You know what is best and as we yield to Your leading, we shall SEE!  Amen!
