We all are aware that nowadays wherever we look, there are wars, famines, bush fires, shootings, recessions and a lot more that highly signify the schemes of darkness trying to fill the earth. But God Who is rich in mercy and abounding in love has a glorious plan in spite of, and that is to fill the earth with His glory as the water covers the sea, with you and I as His divine partakers and partners.
If we live by what we see and hear and reacts to it, we get overwhelmed by the cares of this world. But if we live by what we KNOW that comes from the Word of God which contains His promises that are YES and AMEN, we respond with hope arising within us which is a confident and joyful anticipation that what He Who promised is able and faithful to fulfill His spoken Word.
“Now may God, the inspiration and fountain of hope, fill you to overflowing with uncontainable joy and perfect peace as you trust in him. And may the power of the Holy Spirit continually surround your life with His super-abundance until you radiate with hope!” Romans 15:13 TPT
Fear is being inflicted into people’s hearts as media channels these bad news, putting pressure into people’s lives that unknowingly produce stress that leads to weakening of bodies.
Everywhere we look, everyone is desiring and praying for PEACE, PEACE and PEACE! Who does not want peace to cover the earth?
We may ask ourselves, “How can we take part in making this world a peaceful place to live in? We may think that we, as individuals, are just a drop in a bucket with zero influence, but remember never to despise our own existence. A small measure of yeast can influence and permeates a whole batch of dough. Remember that one is always perceived as a multitude.
God created all of us for a purpose and when we discover our unique identity, who we are before His eyes and seeing His divine purpose for our lives, passion is birthed within us that propels us to do what we are called to do, yet never independent of His mighty power within us, the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
We just celebrated Christmas, the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, a month ago. May we always remember why He was SENT. May we always celebrate every single day of our lives because He was SENT.
“Suddenly, an angel of the Lord appeared in radiant splendor before them, lighting up the field with the blazing glory of God, and the shepherds were terrified! But the angel reassured them, saying, “Don’t be afraid. For I have come to BRING YOU GOOD NEWS, the MOST JOYOUS NEWS the world has ever heard! And it is for EVERYONE EVERYWHERE!
For today in Bethlehem a RESCUER was born for you. He is the Lord Yahweh, the MESSIAH. You will recognize him by this miracle sign: You will find a baby wrapped in strips of cloth and lying in a feeding trough!”
Then all at once, a vast number of glorious angels appeared, the very armies of heaven! And they all praised God, singing: “Glory to God in the highest realms of heaven! For THERE IS PEACE and A GOOD HOPE given to the sons of men.” (Luke 2:9-14 TPT)
Truly, PEACE is not the ABSENCE of all these chaotic strategies of the enemy, but PEACE is the PRESENCE of our Lord Jesus Christ, the PRINCE OF PEACE, alive in our hearts.
“I have told you these things, so that IN ME you may have [perfect] PEACE and CONFIDENCE. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.]” (John 16:33 AMP
JESUS CHRIST is our Heavenly Father’s offensive weapon to the enemy! Our Daddy God SOOO LOVED US and HE never left us to be devoured by the fangless, toothless, defeated foe who roars LIKE a lion, but never a lion, with his lies, lies and more lies. GOD GAVE us His only BELOVED begotten Son, Who is THE TRUTH, because HE SOOOO LOVED US, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but will have eternal life (John 3:16). He who has THE SON has life (1John 5:12). He who has THE SON has perfect peace.
One of the ways in which we can be diffusers of PEACE that make a difference to this world we live in is for us to KNOW Jesus Christ Whom the Father has SENT. We are to KNOW Him not by just our mere thoughts, opinions and imaginations, but by the power of His Word unveiled to us by the Holy Spirit.
“The entrance of God’s word brings light and gives understanding to the simple.” (Psalm 119:130)
The revelation of His Word makes us come to experientially KNOW Who Jesus is. He becomes a part of every fiber of our bring. He CAME that we may have life and have it more abundantly. He was SENT that you and I can be ONE with Him and in Him, no longer orphans but called by name and chosen to be sons and daughters of the Most High God, armed with power and authority to subdue the earth in Jesus’ Name!
We are to KNOW Him that we can MAKE HIM KNOWN by the testimonies that we carry of how GOOD and FAITHFUL He is. Truly we overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). And always remember that the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, meaning, the hearers of what we testify can also believe that what He did to us He can do it AGAIN to them. He is no respecter of persons. When He sees faith, He moves. He NEVER RUNS OUT of goodness for that is Who He is.
The very moment Jesus Who is the Word Himself made flesh enters our lives, we can expect change! There is a force that comes from His indwelling presence that produces change in us and eventually exudes through us.
His presence brings LOVE in and THROUGH us that cast out all our fears away.
His presence brings PEACE in and THROUGH us that overcomes whatever is chaotic around us.
His presence brings JOY in and THROUGH us. And it is the JOY of the LORD that becomes our strength.
His presence brings WISDOM in and THROUGH us that we may know what to do in times when we no longer know what to do.
His presence brings LIGHT in and THROUGH us that we may SEE the steps He has ordained for us to take in order to fulfill our divine purpose and God-given destiny.
All these promises of WHO HE IS are issued divine provisions and invitations for us to partake. When we receive Jesus in our hearts, we take in ALL of Who He is, yet in this lifetime and into the next, no one can really fully discover His magnificence, His greatness, His beauty, His wonder, His mercy, His grace, His power and His love. He is infinite in all of His ways. And the mystery that our human minds cannot comprehend is the truth that in His greatness, He is so mindful of you and me. That as we daily eat and drink of Him by basking in His presence as He has made Himself ever-available at our beck and call, He is more than enough to satisfy us. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Mind you, even a crumb that falls from the Master’s table is more than enough to heal a severely demon-possessed Syrophoenician daughter whose Mother took “no” for an answer. How much more for us when He gave Himself FREELY to us as our daily bread, our daily drink, our daily breath, our daily strength, our daily nourishment?
When we are filled and flooded with the richest measure of His divine presence, we get the privilege and honor of imparting His presence to those who need Him.
We are the temples of the Holy Spirit Who is ever-ready to flow through us. He is the excellent and exceeding greatness of power residing inside us. The things that we do to and for others are just expressions of Who He is in our lives, the Ultimate Blesser, Favor-Giver and the Lover of our souls of All times.
At the end of the day when we ask ourselves, how can we make a difference in this world? How can we do the works of God as believers? I believe the greatest redemptive thing that we can do is for us to make known to all the earth that we have a SAVIOR, the REDEEMER Who lives. His Name is Jesus Christ and He desires to have an intimate relationship with us. He longs to walk with us and talk to us. He is the King of Glory Who is strong and mighty in battle to fight for and with us. And for the whole earth to be filled with the knowledge of His glory as the water covers the sea, we carry Him by the way we live our lives and make Him known.
“What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?” Jesus answered and said to them, “This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He SENT.” (John 6:28-29)
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Your great love that You reached out to us by rending the heavens and coming down to earth, God with us, Emmanuel! Thank You, Jesus, for withholding nothing from us. You gave us Your life by dying at the cross, shedding Your Blood, forgiving our sins, yet requiring NOTHING from us but to ONLY BELIEVE IN YOU WHOM the Lord God SENT. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for revealing to us that truly it is BY GRACE that we are saved THROUGH FAITH, not by our own effort lest we boast. It is not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of God.
Come, Lord Jesus! Come and live in me and through me that people around me may taste and see that You are GOOD and that You are committed to our GOOD!
