Complete In Christ

In every day and in every way, we all have things to do. It may be doing the same thing, yet involving with different people with different outlooks in life, people with variant moods or we may be facing unexpected oppositions. But as we meditate on the Word that we can do ALL things through Christ Who strengthens us, it fuels us with HOPE, a confident expectation of a good outcome. Thus, we can count it all joy, knowing that all things work together for our good.

Many times we resort to doing things in and of our own ability especially when it involves easy things, but we are to keep in mind that He Who is our strength is dwelling inside of us. He is Christ IN US, the HOPE of glory. He Who is in us is greater than he that is in the world. Our life of victory is always connected to our awareness that Christ made His home in us. We are His temples and He is alive in us.

Our revelation knowledge of being in one spirit with Him through our fellowship with the Holy Spirit becomes our NEW NORMAL. We just know beyond a shadow of a doubt that nothing can separate us from Him, His love, His strength, His wisdom, His provision. Whatever we face, we rest in His presence.

He promised and said, “My presence will go with you and I will give you REST. I will give you SUCCESS. I will see your journey to the end.” (Exodus 33:14)

But when we face opposition that is seemingly mightier than us, again, we are to remind ourselves that the Spirit of the Most High God and Jesus Christ, the Anointed One and His Anointing lives inside of us. Remember that He Who is in us, Who is for us is greater. Who can come against the mighty power of the Almighty God Who is our Heavenly Father?

We learn from the God-breathed, Holy Spirit inspired words of Paul. “I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:12-13)

When we opened our hearts to acknowledge, believe and receive Jesus Christ into our hearts, the NEWNESS OF LIFE was birthed. We became NEW CREATIONS, washed by the Blood of the Lamb, made holy and blameless BY FAITH for the Holy Spirit to indwell.

Truly, we are COMPLETE in Christ and we are COMPLETE with Christ in us! In Him and Him in us, we have the fullness of Him, with nothing-missing, nothing-broken, nothing lacking in our lives. This is the reality that the finished work of Jesus Christ has accomplished.

When we know that we are COMPLETE, then everything ELSE is ADDED unto us. There is no subtraction in our identity in Christ. Our situations may prune us, but bear in mind that it is not meant to degrade us but to upgrade us. Pruning is always purposed for our greater fruitfulness.

No amount of challenges can make a chip on our shoulders nor demoralize us UNLESS our minds are not renewed to think the same way as His Word says. We are to be fully convinced that we are NOT limited to who we think we are. We are to conform our thinking into who God created us to be. Our renewed mindsets postures us to experience a heaven-on-earth life, but what precedes our manifested victory is our revelation on our heavenly identity.

Everything begins with Christ IN US, Who makes us complete. It is He Who graces and enables us to do things we cannot do on our own.

These past few days, I have seen powerful revelations of what it means to be complete in Him. Powerful does not always mean spectacular. If we are only looking for striking and eye-catching ones, we deprive ourselves from His day in and day out miraculous move, for even waking up every morning is a glorious, wondrous miracle.

I was scheduled to go on a field work. To the best that I can, I brought with me what I thought were needed. But there was this one document that I kept with me which had nothing to do with what I was about to do.

That day, my employer was amazingly surprised because when the person who was involved with that particular document suddenly was there and was discussing about it, I had it with me. I never knew beforehand that that person would be present in the meeting. It was not in the agenda. When my employer looked at me and commended … “I’m impressed because you came prepared.” My response was, “I’m equally surprised that I have the papers with me.”, although I knew deep in my heart that it was all His leading and doing.

I was overwhelmed and could not thank God enough with whispers from my heart. Then, I heard the prompting in my spirit, “You are complete in Me. It is I Who orders your steps for I know what your day will be like. You can only do much, but I perfect that which concerns you.”

He loves to co-labor with us when we give Him the liberty to move and live and have His being Lord in our lives. When we trust in His goodness and His faithfulness, we can put our hearts to rest, and in the silence of our hearts, we hear Him speak. But when our minds are too busy thinking of a lot of things, we deprive ourselves of His guidance. I am not saying not to prepare for what we are supposed to do. No! We do our part, but as we seek Him first and listen to Him speak with our intention to obey, we posture ourselves at the gaining side. A lot of times, an unction in our hearts may be irrelevant, but as we yield to it, we will find ourselves walking in the path that He has pre-arranged and made ready for us. He promised that He will go before us and guide us with His eye. He promised that He will be with us ALWAYS.

Worship is a 24/7 lifestyle. We do not compartmentalize. Acknowledging Him in ALL of our ways makes us hear and see His direction every step of the way. And even if we miss turn, His grace is sufficient and His strength is made perfect for our weaknesses and lead ts back to where we are supposed to be. He loves us too much to let us to stay stray. Once found, He carries us in His chest, allowing us to hear His heartbeat and influences our hearts to beat the same way.

“[Not in your own strength] for it is God Who is all the while effectually at work in you [energizing and creating in you the power and desire], both to will and to work for His good pleasure and satisfaction and delight.” (Philippians 2:13 AMPC)

Indeed, we are His sheep who hears and knows His voice and we follow. We live because He speaks. What He calls us to do, He empowers us to do it. He knows what we need and He supplies it. He has already provided us everything that pertains to life and godliness when Jesus said, “It is finished!” Therefore, we can do all things through Christ Who gives us strength. We are complete in Him and Him in us.

“I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.]” (Philippians 4:13 AMPC)

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You that Your eyes are always upon us. If not a single sparrow falls to the ground outside Your care, how much more care You have for Your own sons and daughters. Thank You, Lord Jesus, for always interceding for us, making our prayers complete and perfect that we may be continually astounded by the beauty of Your finished work at the cross. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for revealing to us everything that pertains to our daily life and godliness. Teach us to always know the truth that empowers us to walk in victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
