Miracles are birthed when the heaven’s atmosphere invades the earth’s and PRAISE is an invitation for the glory of God to settle where He is welcomed.
“But You are Holy, ENTHRONED in the praises of Israel.” Psalm 22:3
The Lord leans back on the cushions of our praises! When we shout out loud with our praises, it causes fear to be quiet and faith to rise! Let NO ONE and NOTHING steal your voice … not even the pain of your body when you’re sick, or your empty bank account, or your shaky relationships. Always remember that He is desperate to commune with us and all He’s waiting is for us call to out His name and praise Him for Who He is. He isn’t the type who invades but He settles when invited and in His sovereignty and majesty He shall come.
“Now they came to Jericho. As he went out of Jericho with His disciples and a great multitude, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, sat by the road begging. And when HE HEARD that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!!” THEN MANY WARNED HIM TO BE QUIET; BUT HE CRIED OUT ALL THE MORE, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” Mark 10:46-49
“So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “GO YOUR WAY; YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.” Mark 10:21-52
What a beautiful example blind Bartimaeus’ faith was? He heard of Jesus .. he bagan to cry out … and although people warned him to be quiet, HE CRIED OUT ALL THE MORE!!! Then IMMEDIATELY he received his sight. That’s faith! When Paul and Silas were in prison, they, too, were praying and singing hymns to God and SUDDENLY there was a massive earthquake and the prison was shaken to its foundations and doors IMMEDIATELY flew open. On the seventh day on the seventh time the Israelites marched around the town of Jericho, as the priests sounded the long blast on their horns and Joshua commanded the people, “SHOUT!”, SUDDENLY the walls of Jericho collapsed, and the Israelites charged straight into the town and captured it.
There is something immensely powerful with our VOICE … our SOUND! The whole of creation trembles in submission to what we give voice to for God has given us the power and authority to subdue the earth that when we speak, sing or shout, we partner with Him in His kingdom’s rule and reign. When we agree with what God says, we are praising Him and in our praises we give Him a seat to sit. When He inhabits our praises, He meets us. He meets our needs in ways and means only He knows how. He touches our hearts in the most tender way that positions us to encounter His very presence wanting NOTHING ELSE but Him. That’s one best miracle one could ever have.
“Cheer up, Zion! DON’T BE AFRAID! For the Lord your God is LIVING AMONG YOU. He is a MIGHTY SAVIOR. He will take delight in you with gladness. With His Love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with JOYFUL SONGS.” Zephaniah 3:16-17 NLT
