God Is Bigger

If you think you know it all, you just reduced the bigness of God to fit into your minute box.

No one knows all things but God Himself.  He is omniscient, the all-knowing God!  He is the only One having infinite awareness, understanding, insight and a complete knowledge of everything.  And the best part of it is that HE knows you and I inside out.  He knows what we think, when we get up, what are the motives of our hearts because nothing can be hidden from Him and inspite of what He sees, HE CHOOSES TO LOVE US UNCONDITIONALLY because He is committed to our destiny!

But, man also tends to think we know it all.  It’s funny how we sometimes think we know where we’re going and then ask God to bless our journey.  Hmmm….how about asking and seeking Him first for when we do, SURELY our journey will be blessed without even asking Him to bless it.

He positions mysteries in our lives for if He reveals His whole and complete plan for us, I’m sure we’re all going to be cowardly moving backwards.  He said, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9).  Ohhh … He’s got greater plans for us than we could ever think of and the only way for Him to keep us on the road is to hide them from us.  He desires for us to leave the mysteries as mysteries that will slowly unfold as they get revealed in due season.

These mysteries are as equally important as what we are knowing and seeing now.  Mysteries position us to TRUST GOD and lean NOT on our own intellect!  They stretch and exercise our faith that produce patience and endurance.  They lead us to hunger and thirst for more of JESUS knowing that it is in the seeking Him diligently that we are richly rewarded by divine visitations and encounters.  Our reward in pursuing Him is Himself.  When we experience Him, He increases our capacity to believe for much more greater and glorious things.  Then, we taste and see that God is Good!

“TRUST GOD from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own.  Listen to God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one Who will keep you on track.  DON’T ASSUME THAT YOU KNOW IT ALL.  Run TO God!  Run FROM evil!” Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG)
