People perish due to lack of knowledge!  Fear grips those who are living in the unknown!  BUT God gave us His Word and in His Word is LIFE!  In His Word is WISDOM!  In His Word is POWER!  In His Word is FREEDOM!  In His Word is TRUTH!

“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives.  It connects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”  2 Timothy 3:16 NLT

When the word “PREDESTINATION” is talked about in our conversations, either faith or fear is translated from it.  People are scared of what is in store for them, let alone what God has predestined them for.  BUT, when you get into the Word of God, when you read, hear and meditate what this is all about, then it produces faith to rise up within us what His grace has spoken about PREDESTINATION.

“An we know that ALL THINGS WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.  For whom He foreknew, He also PREDESTINED to be conformed to the image of His son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.  Moreover whom He PREDESTINED, these He also CALLED, whom He CALLED, these He also JUSTIFIED, and whom He JUSTIFIED, these He also GLORIFIED.”  Romans 8:28-30 NKJV

PREDESTINATION in here is not about heading towards the unknown that produces fear BUT it is clearly mentioned that our predestination is TO BE CONFORMED INTO THE IMAGE AND LIKENESS OF JESUS, to become like Him!  And God’s first step for those He called is to be JUSTIFIED, giving them RIGHT STANDING with Himself by the power of the Blood of the Lamb of God.  This is all because with the FALL we were disconnected from Him.  With REDEMPTION we are restored, reconnected, filled and empowered by the Spirit of the resurrected King allowing our hearts to be influenced by Him.  This is when we get confident to come boldly before His presence 24/7, beholding His beauty, communing with Him, walking and talking with Him, hearing Him speak and us responding to His voice.   It is in this place of intimacy where we get conformed into His beauty.

Remember that your DOING always follows your BEING!  You cannot DO like He does effortlessly and effectively without BEING like Him, without being CONFORMED to be like Him.  I checked the definition of the word “CONFORMED” … to be similar to or the same as something , to obey and agree with something, to do what other people do, to behave the way they behave, to be identical, to be compliant.

When we are like Him, we carry His glory and goodness within us that get diffused through us for His own delight that touches those He desires to be touched.
