How many of us think that nowadays there is no longer a place in which you can possibly call safe?  Most TV channels and social medias are airing bad news after bad news BUT in spite of this chaotic world we’re in, there is still a place that can be untouched and uncontaminated by evil.  It is indeed a place of safety and security.  It is IN THE SECRET PLACE of the Most High God!  And this is GOOD NEWS!

Why is it called The Secret Place?   Well as far as my revelation is concerned, it’s all because it is a place where NO EVIL SHALL BEFALL YOU and NO PLAGUE CAN COME NEAR YOUR DWELLING.  It is hidden IN CHRIST where the enemy has NO ACCESS and the only way one can have the key to get in is when one believes in Jesus Christ.  It is in the power of the Blood of the Lamb of God that makes one right before the King of Kings allowing us to never leave HIS sight in spite of our imperfections.  It is accessed BY GRACE (the finished work of Jesus Christ) THROUGH FAITH (by our believing on what He has done)!

No wonder the Word of God always reminds us that we are IN this world but NOT OF it.  Yes, we physically live IN this world but when one becomes a new creation in Christ, the temple of the Holy Spirit as you receive Jesus Christ in your heart and believe that His Blood washed you clean and made you worthy for HIM to dwell in you, then you are positioned to be within in wall of fire of His divine presence, protected and shielded from the fiery darts of the enemy, and this is being NOT OF this world.  We have dual world, the physical (by our senses) and the spiritual (by faith), and one is superior to the other.

 “SURELY He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence.  He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.” Psalm 91:3-4 NKJV

As He dwells IN us being His temple, we are IN HIM concurrently!  God made us sit IN CHRIST Who after His resurrection seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, FAR ABOVE all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. (Ephesians 1:20-21 NKJV)

Jesus dwells in the heavenly realms and as our mindset becomes influenced by His Word and is in tuned to heavenly perspective, that’s when we are postured IN HIM in the SECRET PLACE of the Most High God.  I love the word, “Most High”!  That means, no one is higher than Him.  IN HIM is a place where no evil can possibly come up into the heights of where HE IS that makes you and I untouchable IN HIM.  It is when fears melt away and darkness flees in the light of His presence where His love envelopes us.

Just as a snake which is a representation of the devil who cannot thrive on a certain altitude where it gets suffocated, disoriented and becomes powerless, the FEAR that it brings gets dissolved, disintegrated and dissipated in God’s presence, the Secret Place.  THIS IS GOOD NEWS!

“You will NOT FEAR the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.  A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, BUT IT WILL NOT COME NEAR YOU.” Psalm 91:5-7 NIV

We have a choice!  To choose to believe in what we see with our physical eyes (to see is to believe) OR to choose to believe His written promises and SEE them manifest in our lives (to believe and then SEE).  If one is not confident on the authority of God’s Word, then he becomes a slave to what he thinks that what he physically sees is the reality!

We are founded on better promises!  We have JESUS Who saves!  We have His Word that is our SUPERIOR reality!  We have the Holy Spirit in us for our sake and upon us for others, Who is the exceeding greatness of God’s power living inside of us and gracing us to walk out the Word that is written in the tablets of our hearts.  Why fear?  Instead, DWELL IN THE SECRET PLACE OF THE MOST HIGH GOD IN THE PRESENCE OF OUR GOD ALMIGHTY Whose power NO FOE can come against!  After all, HE IS the ALL MIGHTY God!  That means NO ONE and NOTHING else is MIGHTIER than Him and the BEST thing is that  HE IS ON OUR SIDE!  That is definitely GOOD NEWS!

“If you say, “The Lord is my REFUGE,” and you make the Most High God your dwelling, NO HARM WILL OVERTAKE YOU, NO DISASTER WILL COME NEAR YOUR TENT.  For He will command His angels concerning you TO GUARD YOU IN ALL OUR WAYS; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:9-12  NIV
