Learning Everyday!

What do we do when someone asks us for prayer?  Of course, the very first thing is to say, YES!  Then, what’s next?  Our ways of praying may vary from one person to another according to the leading of the Holy Spirit, but one thing I learned from saying YES is my accountability to partner with the one who is asking for prayer.  I so believe that when two or three are gathered in His name, He is in the midst of them and gathering sometimes mean regardless of proximity.  We can agree in prayer with one intention, with our hearts in union, with a prayer that is according to the will of God even if one is somewhere across the globe.  He honors our faith when we believe He is in our midst and that He hears us.  This gives us the confidence in our hearts that surely He will move.

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”  (1 John 5:14-15)

Proof, Passion & Pursuit

The proof of our love is in our passion that is demonstrated in our pursuit.  Who are we seeking?  Who are we longing to be with?  With whom are we spending our time, talent and treasure with?  Who is in our hearts?  What are we passionate about?

“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” (Matthew 6:21 NKJV)

“The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being.” (Matthew 6:21 MSG)

Who Am I?

“The Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush.” (Exodus 3:2)

When Moses saw the burning bush, he drew near, he looked and beheld. He saw this GREAT SIGHT why the bush did not burn. Then, He heard God calling him.

The Lord chose Moses to send him to Pharaoh that he may bring His people out of Egypt. He surely SAW the oppression of His people and have HEARD their cry because of their taskmasters, for He KNEW their sorrows.

Uniquely Created

I always love asking the Holy Spirit the secrets behind the great men of God whose names are mentioned in the Bible.  I may not have many answers but surely He unveils our eyes little by little to see what those characters are that made them exceptionally special.

Prosperity Mindset

What does a prosperity mindset mean?  For me, it simply means that “everywhere I look, BLESSINGS!” (Amos 9:13 MSG)  It is a renewed mindset that sees possibility in the midst of impossibility by seeing a stumbling block as a stepping stone to victory.  It is a mindset that is grounded on the truth that God always causes us to triumph in Christ (2 Corinthians 2:14).  It is an established set of thoughts manifesting in attitudes that point to the lordship of Jesus Christ where our lives are graced to see things from the kingdom of God’s perspective.

Accepted In The Beloved

Without exception, everyone desires to be loved and accepted just the very way we are.  We all want to be embraced not by what we can do and contribute, but by simply being ourselves.  But this fallen and cruel world has so programmed our minds to define success to be recognized as merely great accomplishments, high positions and having surmountable amount of possessions apart from being who we really are.  As a result, many experience identity crisis.

Discover Something New

I was watching a woman who happened to be just thinking and believing of how she can make ends meet.  She’s got rent to deal with, bills to pay and food to buy for her to live.  What encouraged me was that she pressed in on what could she possibly do.  She thought of something within her reach and turned it into a work of art that brought forth provision.  She had chipped and broken ceramic pieces like plates, cups, etc, and saw beyond.  Little did she know that out of those seemingly useless broken pieces emerged a beautiful masterpiece of ceramic mosaic.

“I AM WHO I AM”

Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?”  And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.”  (Exodus 3:13-14)
