Humility Begets Holiness

I used to wonder what HOLINESS truly means.  It has been a question in my heart though I know that one of its definitions is … “being set apart for God’s use”.  But God WHO is so mindful of us hears the cry of our hearts.  He sometimes answers immediately, at times after quite sometime.  One thing certain with Him though is that HE SURELY ANSWERS.  He has numerous ways of answering and all we need to do is yield our hearts into His voice and recognize the avenue in which He speaks.

Enjoy Life!

When Adam and Eve were walking with God in the cool of the day in the garden, they must have been having a great time enjoying every millisecond of it.  I remembered the very first time I read Genesis, I envied them so much to be in that position of being with Him day and night, night and day until they got trapped by the snare of the fowler that made them choose knowledge over relationship.  They wanted to be “like God” where in truth they were already created according to His image and likeness.  THEY HAD IT ALL but they got persuaded by a mere question “DID GOD REALLY SAY,  you must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” (Genesis 3:1)

Wholeness In Love

We all long to belong.  We all long to be noticed and acknowledged.  We all long to be accepted and loved just the very way we are.  This has always been the cry of every heart in which most often than not lead people to wrong resolutions.

I strongly believe that this is so because the One Who created us is a very relational God Whose utmost desire is for us to know HIM as a Good, Good Father and for us to have a clear knowledge that we are His sons and daughters.  He yearns for us to know that we belong to HIM first.

The Empty Tomb

Isn’t it interesting to know that the first arms that held Jesus at His birth was Mary, the Virgin, and the first one to see Jesus when He resurrected was Mary Magdalene who was believed to be delivered from seven demons?   This only means on thing that before Jesus paid for all our sins, God needed a pure virgin to bear His only begotten Son in her womb (by the law of righteousness) but after His death, burial and resurrection, anyone who acknowledges Jesus as lORD and Savior can SEE and have an encounter with Him (for by grace and truth that came with Jesus Christ).

“For BY GRACE you have been saved THROUGH FAITH, and that NOT of yourselves; it is the GIFT OF GOD,  not of works, lest anyone should boast.”  Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV
