Today I have witnessed the beautiful wedding of a very dear friend. It was a powerful celebration that made me shed joyful tears because I have seen how desperate and passionate she was to get married again. She went through a lot in the past yet stayed full of faith and hope that one day her breakthrough will come and YES IT DID before my very eyes. It was indeed a testimony like no other.
When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, the enemy’s attack was focused on His identity. Because Jesus knew Who He is, that He is the BELOVED Son in Whom God is pleased, no amount of the devil’s scheme could dislodge and budge His identity.
When we know who we are IN CHRIST, we will no longer strive to be who we’re not. When we completely know how deeply loved we are by the Most High God Who is our Father, how awesomely thought of we are, how faithfully looked after we are, how fully attentive He is to us, how He sees us with knowledge and compassion, how He unfailingly pursues us, the certainty and confidence we have IN HIM rises up to a higher degree.
Intimacy is casting one shadow. It is having one in spirit, of one mind, sharing the same thoughts, motives and actions, same tenderness and compassion, having one heart and going on the same direction.
What we see matters! What do you see when you see a Cross? Does it have an effect on you when you see one?
“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:18 NIV)
When we adore or revere someone, don’t you think we would like to be acknowledged by that someone? We sometimes get out of our way to be seen and to be taken notice of. Oh yes, that’s a default attribute of being on planet earth. At times we find ourselves searching in the net what the person is doing at the very moment and where.
Don’t worry! It’s just but norm to behave this way. The only thing that we need to redefine is WHO to adore that will give most value to our very being. To WHOM shall we pour all of our affections on and be rest assured that we will NEVER be disappointed. Continue reading “Jesus Is Second To NONE!”
Do you know why it’s foolishness to the world the ways of God, Who He truly is, His nature and attributes? It’s all because a human intellect can only go so far. It’s capacity to comprehend cannot even scratch the surface of knowing His inexhaustible greatness. A created being can never be greater than the CREATOR. Yet man continues to pridefully deny His existence and tries to figure out by himself what life is all about. No wonder we still live in a world where peace is undeniably inexistent.
JESUS is the PRINCE OF PEACE and apart from Him, there will be no peace.
JESUS is the HOPE of Glory, therefore PEACE is still a possibility in the world of impossibility.
“In the last days, they will tremble in awe of the LORD and of His goodness.” (Hosea 3:5 NLT)
Well, I don’t know about you 🙂 but one thing I would like to be in awe of is to see and witness His goodness, the knowledge of His glory filling the earth as the water covers the sea. I desire to see JESUS and the benefits of His finished work at the cross in awestruck wonder, and favor is one of them.
” And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” (Matthew 27:46 NKJV)
Jesus in all His life always called God “Father” until the time came when He cried out at the cross, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me”?
And Moses built an altar and called its name, The-Lord-Is-My-Banner; for he said, “Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.” Exodus 17:15-16 NKJV
HE is our battle flag of victory, as we march forth and fight to establish His kingdom on earth and in men’s hearts.
Behold, I Am With You Always! -JESUS
