Yes, we all desire to be promoted in all areas of our lives. Increase is a proven “default” within us.  Oh how we want to be promoted in our jobs that yield increase in our salaries.  How we desire to walk from faith-to-faith, from glory-to-glory in the kingdom of God and see His promises manifested before our eyes.  I believe this is so because the INCREASE in the kingdom of God knows no bounds and it is He Who will establish it, if we learn to be yielded to His word that is always “Yes” in Christ and through Him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

What is the KEY? I believe one of the vital keys or if I may say the most vital key is cultivating our relationship with God.  The whole life of a believer is to discover and unravel more of Who He is and who we are in Him.

Before coming into the revelatory knowledge and relationship with Jesus Christ, we all were slave to sin. The moment we get born into this world, because of the fall at the garden of Eden, we were.  We do things what we do not want to do.   No matter how we try, that slippery path always takes us back down to where we’ve been.  The law is too perfect to be obeyed and all we’re left with is frustration, disappointment, guilt and condemnation if we do it in our own ability.

The passage that describes this is the mother of all tongue twisters for me :-).

“We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.  I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.  And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good.  As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me.  For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature.   For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out.  For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing.  Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.”  (Romans 7:14-20)

But God Who is rich in mercy and abounding in love, holy interrupted our way of doing things by ambushing us with His divine glorious encounters.  Praise the Lord that because of His great love for us, He gave us His only begotten Son.  In Him, LIFE and LIGHT are found.   

“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,  because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”  (Romans 8:1-2)

Praise the Lord that now that we are redeemed by the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit was given to abide in us forever.  He indwells in us for our sake.  He moves and lives and have His being in us IF we allow Him to, by the renewing of our minds.  As we open our hearts and let Him have His way by speaking Spirit-breathed word, we unleash Him and His power to grace us to do the what we couldn’t do on our own.  The Lord of righteousness changes us and enables us to KNOW HIM, to think right and do what is right.

I was watching a Christian channel one day and came across the testimony of an Atheist.  Yes, he disbelieves the existence of God at an early age and hated the name of Jesus.  But God is God and He is rich in mercy and abounding in love! A colleague of his gave him a book to read, “Left Behind”.  His heart started to open as he read through the pages and the presence of God overwhelmed him and led him into more “seeking His face” encounters. He asked the Lord for a voice to follow.  Lo and behold, the Lord spoke to Him about how to treat people with love and kindness. God made Himself known to this man through dreams.  And since he is a paramedic, the Lord told him to pray for the sick in his ambulance.

He obeyed, yet he didn’t see anyone healed after praying a lot of times.  But he was persistent.  God’s grace sustained him.  He taught him through dreams and visions on how to do it.  God took him to a different level of power and authority.  He learned that to beg God to heal His people is not in alignment to Who He is.  It is in our confidence on the the finished work of Jesus Christ that makes us step up and command sickness and disease to leave in Jesus’ Name and they shall flee.

A testimony indeed is a spirit of prophecy. It charges our faith and changes our options when we hear them with an earnest desire to see them manifest through us. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of Jesus and once it has taken root into our hearts and our knowledge that God heals because He loves us, no power can come against such revelation of the word.

How awesome it is to see that a person who was once an atheist can be used powerfully by God.  It is the LOVE of God that captured his heart.  Love indeed is love when it moves us.  We only have authority over those we love.  If God can transform and use him, what excuse do we have for Him not to use us?  He is no respecter of persons.  Therefore, it is time for all of us who believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God to level up.  We are called to ARISE and SHINE for the Light has come and the Glory of the Lord is risen upon us.

Let us learn how to show the love of God for His people by releasing power and exercising authority to subdue the things that exalts itself against the will of God in those who need healing and wholeness.  Jesus came to be our HEALER!  If we believe that He is, then we shall see!  We don’t pray to beg or convince Him.  God knows and He is absolutely convinced by what Jesus has done at the cross.  After all He is the Word of God Who cannot violate Himself.  It is us Who need to conform with full conviction that what He has spoken He has already known and what He has testified He has already seen. Once we get in alignment to that, then we shall see.  He watches His word to come to pass when we speak His promises into existence.

Our revelatory knowledge of His healing word is an issued invitation from God Himself for us to co-labor with Him to see His goodness and glory touch people’s lives. It is a heaven on earth invasion and the more we consciously walk in it, the more we shall see. The increase of the Kingdom of God is without end. He takes us from faith to faith, from strength to strength, from glory to glory.  IT’S TIME TO LEVEL UP!

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You, for the testimonies of Your goodness manifesting in people’s lives.  Thank You for opening our eyes to see and learn that You are Who You say You are!  Jesus, You are our healer Who heals and if we have any doubt in our hearts, help us with our unbelief and reveal to us MORE of WHO YOU ARE that we may walk in power and authority, doing good and healing those who are afflicted and oppressed all because You are with us.  Holy Spirit, fill and flood us with love.  It is Your love that never fails.  When we pray healing prayers that is fueled by Your love for Your people, surely they are YES in Christ and Amen to us.
