We Are Victorious!

God ALWAYS causes us to triumph in Christ.

“Now thanks be to God who ALWAYS leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we face a situation that involves other people, it gets more challenging for they have their own beliefs and free will. They will think of how they want to think and do what they think is best for them.

I had an experience of graciously (all by the grace of God) responding to a confrontation in which I was a middleman. Numerous texts and calls were coming in, but what else can I say? I only said what my superior said and did what my superior told me to do. But, the other party was not willing to submit. Rather, they kept insisting on what they want.

This scenario kept on and on for more than month. Everytime I responded to their message explaining more to them, I was expecting a different result. But nothing was changed.

Then, I remembered the definition of “insanity”🤣🤣🤣. It is doing the same thing but expecting a different result. There must be a change in my approach to change their response.

The only and best way to change is to seek Him and His ways. “The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know His Name trust in Him, for He is the Lord Who never forsakes those who seek Him.” (Psalm 9:9 ESV)

His Word says, He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. He said, when we seek Him, we shall find Him. He said, seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness (His ways of doing right) and all these things shall be added unto us.

The very next day, at the wee hours of the morning, I was awakened and couldn’t manage to go back to sleep, so I decided to get up and pray. And this was when I was prompted by the Holy Spirit to pray for them. He made me see that the reason why the demand was persistent and insistent is because they couldn’t see beyond the situation. They were bound and consumed by their need. No matter how I tried to explain, I was not getting across. Hopelessness gripped them, thus, pressure was put upon us in spite of the provision that was allocated for them. They want more.

And so I started praying. I bound that orphan spirit that was trying to contain them into the situation, declared and loosed the identity of sonship that brings FREEDOM in which only Jesus Christ can bring. I asked the Lord to open their eyes for light to pierce in and clear all confusion and offense. I know that when the Light of God’s presence comes, our perception changes that causes us to be thankful than blameful.

Jesus, our Mediator and Advocate was fully filled by the Spirit of God that He went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed by the devil for God was with Him. He commanded His followers concerning these days we are in and gave instructions about the time through the Holy Spirit. If we are going to accomplish anything, we are going to accomplish it because it is not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of God. It is in Him that we can be continually filled with utterances, revelations, realizations and visions as we move and live and have our being in Him.

I have learned that when we pray for those who may seem against us, it changes us. When the compassion of the Lord fills us, our minds and hearts get recalibrated in alignment into His. When this happens, we can no longer say anything against that person. Indeed, fresh and salt water cannot come from the same source. When we speak a blessing upon someone, how can we loose negative words at the same time?

No wonder, His Word says, “Bless those who curse you and pray for those who persecute you.” (Luke 6:28) The first thing that happens when we do is it changes us. It changes how we think. It changes how we perceive things. Then it changes how we deal with them. Because we are changed, they change.

The secret is the Word of God.

“There is such a great peace and well-being that comes to the lovers of Your word, and they will never be offended.” Psalm 119:165 TPT

I was amazed at this verse that I never came across before. Oh what freedom it brought me. If we want to be offense-free, we are to be lovers of His Word.

If we want to know how to make our way prosperous, how we deal wisely and how we can have good success, we meditate on the Word day and night and let it be a part of us.

“This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.” (Joshua 1:8 AMPC)

Meditation in the Word of God gives us vision that allows us to see differently because the entrance of the Word gives light and gives understanding to the simple (Psalm 119:30).

It is the lamp upon our feet and the light into our path. (Psalm 119:115)

It causes us to trust Him with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. It causes us to acknowledge Him in all of our ways and He will direct our paths.

As we walk along the paths of trust with Him, He will make our paths straight. It is He Who levels the paths of the righteous. It is He Who will make known to us His ways. It is He Who will keep us in perfect peace whose minds are stayed on Him because we trust in Him (Isaiah 26:3)

His thoughts and ways are higher than ours, and when tap into them He causes us to triumph in Christ. We arise above the snake line and into realm where eagles soar high that suffocates the snakes.

I read this story a few weeks ago. This not only blessed me but freed me.

The only bird that dares to peck at an eagle is the crow. He sits on his back and bites his neck. However, the eagle does not respond, nor fight with the crow; it doesn’t waste time or energy on the crow!
It simply opens its wings and begins to rise higher in the heavens. The higher the flight, the harder it is for the crow to breathe and then the crow falls due to lack of oxygen.
Stop wasting your time with the crows.
Just take them to your heights and they’ll fade 🙌
The enemy will sit behind your back and bite your neck… “but those who wait for the Lord will have new strength; They will raise wings like eagles… ” (Isaiah 40:31) He who has an ear to hear, will listen.

We have to keep in mind that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood. People are not our enemies. There is an adversary that is roaming around like a roaring lion seeking those whom he can devour by his lies, lies and more lies. If we are not rooted and grounded in the Word of God, we can easily be deceived and be made to believe that what he is whispering in our ears is what is supposed to be.

Let peace be our umpire. If we do not recognize peace in our midst, there is someone who is trying to meddle in between to bring confusion and division. His job is to kill, steal and destroy. We are to be quick to discern and be vigilant of his schemes and we can only do this when we we have His Word alive in our hearts.

The Word is living and powerful, sharper than a double edged sword, the DISCERNER of the thoughts and intents of our hearts.

If we do not know the truth of His Word, how then can we recognize a lie?

Many times, the training for people who handle money is that they will be made to touch and feel the real one, until such a time that with just one touch of a fake note, they can easily recognize and spot the difference.

When the Word of God becomes a part of us, because we have meditated on it day and night, night and day, something gets stirred in our hearts when it is not in alignment to His Word. The light of His Word illumines the dark areas of our lives to bring freedom and deliverance.

His Word is the road map of our Christ-likeness. We are to take it at its face value, walk in it and live it out.

More so, God did not only give us the road map, but He gave us the Navigator living inside you and me Who will lead and guide us into all truth, the Holy Spirit.

Did the response of the other party change? Oh yes! They became gracious, appreciative and thankful. Praise be to our Living God. It is He Who changes our hearts of stone into hearts of flesh, moldable, humble, open and teachable.

The secret to walking in the victory that Jesus won for us is to get in alignment into His thoughts and His ways. They never fail.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for always breathing in our direction, giving us hope, strength and courage to walk in ways You want us to walk. Thank You, Jesus, for being The Way, The Truth, The Light and The Life. You won it all for us that we may walk triumphant always. Thank You, Holy Spirit, for leading and guiding us that even the most routine part of our lives can be regarded as spiritual act of worship because we live and move and have our being in You. Amen!
