Prayer is powerful. The reason why it is so is because prayer is communing and communicating with our God ALMIGHTY Whose power no foe can come against and has ABSOLUTE power over all.

“The heartfelt and persistent prayer of a righteous man (believer) can accomplish much [when put into action and made effective by God–it is dynamic and can have tremendous power].” JAMES 5:16 AMP

One day I was chatting with a very good friend of mine and suddenly she mentioned how fearful she is to ask God for prayers all because they may not be answered.  Hmmmmmm … that kept me in silence for a minute.  I didn’t know how to “theologically” answer her to encourage her.  Instead, I went home that day with those words echoing at the back of my mind.
