God may lead you to take a BOLD STEP to start a journey. He may not show you your final destination but He will assure you that it is GOOD!

Taking that bold step is like starting a journey where you are already at the airport’s boarding gate.  The boarding pass is in your hand that states your destination.  In your mind you are already having an image of yourself walking, exploring and enjoying the place but you aren’t actually there yet.

It takes for you to get up when your flight is being called, go to the gate and then the flight commences.  In the journey there may be turbulence, re-routing along the way or it could be a smooth and pleasant flight but it is your attitude towards the situation you’re in that keeps you steady.  People easily complain when there are delays or cancellations but that doesn’t mean you’re not reaching your destination.  These may be necessary detours for our protection.  The Holy  Spirit knows ALL things.  We don’t!  In life, there will always be distractions along the way.  There will be lots of opportunities to take the exits while you’re in a highway.  But be of good cheer!  The Lord has got you covered.

John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart!  I have overcome the world.”

In long haul flights, we do get up and walk around to change our position.  We look out from the window and see a different world outside that brings out joy in us.  It keeps us going.  The same is true with walking with Jesus.  Instead of pity-partying (a party with only one attendee – YOU), we expose ourselves to another environment that will stimulate our faith and be encouraged.  We fellowship with believers and hear testimonies that will make our hopes arise.  We choose to set our thoughts on what is praiseworthy and WHO IS WORTHY that quicken and energize us trusting and resting on our Good Shepherd Who keeps us in the way.  When we enjoy the journey so much, time flies so fast and before we know it the “fasten seat belt” sign is on and excitement springs up because in a few minutes we about to touch down and reach our destination.

When answers to our prayers don’t come immediately, TAKE COURAGE and BE OF GOOD CHEER!  It is in this journey where we come to know HIM in a deeper way which becomes an ANSWERED PRAYER ITSELF.  It will open your mind that going through a PROCESS is NOT a lesser miracle than a SUDDEN at all.

Life is beautiful and beauty always lies in the eyes of the beholder. When you see your life beautiful, you’ll live it beautifully.
