God initiates!  He empowers!  We respond!

“And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”  Colossians 1:17

God loved us first so we can be lovers!

God blessed us first so we can be blessers!

He overcame first so we can be overcomers!

He conquered death first so we can be more than conquerors!

He never asks us anything that He has not given.   Even with our tithes and offerings, we bring them to Him from what we have received from Him honoring Him that He is the SOURCE of all.  He never expects us to love Him back without us being loved by Him first because He knows that we cannot give what we do not have.  And everything He asks of us, He empowers us by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.  Left on our own, the selfish character of humans always prevails.  BUT we have been redeemed!  We have been made a new creation by the Blood of Jesus that transformed us to carry the newness of life in Christ, a yielded life led by the Spirit of the LOVING and LIVING God.

We are a work in progress and He is the One Who is FULL OF FAITH to take us from glory to glory.  He calls us before we even see something within ourselves.  People acknowledge us when they see something in us but our God sees us so differently thus the renewing of our minds is a vital key to victory.  While David was still a shepherd, God saw a king in him.  The weak Gideon, God saw him as a mighty man of valor.  He sees His creation’s end from the beginning.  He sees you and I as His “FINISHED MASTERPIECE” before we were even formed in the wombs of our mothers.   With this in mind, the surety of who we are in Him should keep us in perfect peace knowing that God knows what He is doing in our lives.   There may be mysteries in our lives that we know nothing about but this is the beauty of being privileged to TRUST in His goodness that only good things are prepared for you and me.

He is the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last.  What He started in our lives, SURELY HE is faithful to finish it ALL BECAUSE that’s WHO OUR GOD IS, an all-knowing, all powerful, and ever present.  As we focus on His Divine nature as a FINISHER, why become a doubter?  A PROMISE-KEEPER ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISE.

“And I am CONVINCED and SURE of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], DEVELOPING [that good work] and PERFECTING and BRINGING IT TO FULL COMPLETION in you.”  Philippians 1:6 AMP
