It is in the secret place where secrets are revealed.  It is when we take time to sit down and fellowship with the One Who loves us most is where He unveils His desires, His plans, His purposes, His very heart for you and me.

No wonder David’s exuberant declaration of faith led him to desire ONE THING …

“ONE THING I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek:  That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple.”  Psalm 27:4

 

Mary had the same desire … “ONE THING” …  who sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word.

“ONE THING is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”  Luke 10:41

Paul pressed on, that he may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of him.  He, at the same time, had his “ONE THING” …

“I do not count myself to have apprehended; but ONE THING I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead,  I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”  Philippians 3:13-14

We all have our own “ONE THING”!  What is that “ONE THING” that you desire most that will give you everything in life?

“Whoever HAS the Son HAS life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.”   1John 5:12
