“Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.”  Romans 10:17

Many say BE DOERS of the WORD and NOT HEARERS ONLY!  Very True!  But have you also thought that we cannot be an effective doer without being an intimate listener?   Faith COMES by hearing and hearing.   The more you hear, the more faith rises up within you that eventually leads you to doing what you have heard.

A woman with the issue of blood who suffered for twelve years and spent everything but she had gotten no better.  In face she had gotten worse.  Then SHE HAD HEARD ABOUT JESUS, so she came up behind Him through the crowd and touched His robe.  For she thought to herself, “If I can just touch His robe, I will be healed.” IMMEDIATELY the bleeding stopped, and she could feel in her body that she had been healed of her terrible condition. (Mark 5:25-29)

Without her hearing of what Jesus has done in her region, she wouldn’t have risked her life to go into the crowd and touch His robe.  She was considered unclean and can be stoned to death if caught but because of what she keeps hearing and hearing about Jesus, how He was going about doing good healing ALL who were oppressed by the devil because God was with Him, she pressed in and got healed.

When you keep hearing, you’ll surely end up doing!  Hearing and doing shouldn’t be in competition but being a continual hearer shall make you an effective and effortless doer of the Word.  When faith rises up from deep within you because you keep on hearing and hearing by the Word of God, there’s no way you’ll stay without moving and doing!  You WILL move and you WILL do!
