Our confidence comes when we KNOW that when He hears us, we are within the territory of His presence and SURELY within His reach.

“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.  And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”  1John 5:14-15 NKJV

When He hears you and I calling upon His Name, it delights Him and He answers but how many of us wait in His presence to hear Him answer?  Or how many of us rush to make our requests known to Him and rush to get out of His presence because we have a lot more “to do list” in our calendar?

But when we wait and hear Him speak into our hearts, when divine encounters happen, it changes us.  It changes the way we think.  It changes our ways.  The “to do list” will just go smoothly because we got connected to our Good Shepherd Whose thoughts and ways are way too good compared to ours.  He leads, instructs, guides and busies Himself with His every step with us because He loves us.  When we taste and see His goodness, it woos us to LOVE Him more each day, PRAISE Him in every way and OBEY Him all the way.
