Sometimes we wake up "at the wrong side of the bed." hahahaha!  Well, it is very true. We are still IN this world but be reminded that we are not OF it. Jesus said, "IN Me you may have peace. In this world you will have challenges, BUT BE OF GOOD CHEER, for I have overcome the world. I deprived it of its power to harm you and have conquered it for you. (John 16:33)" That is GOOD NEWS!

When you feel not quite well as you wake up, CHILLAX 😀😀 …  you still have the rest of the day to enjoy!   You still have plenty of chances to switch the frequency of your thoughts to align to His.
I woke up this morning in that state and instead of lingering in it, I stood up and declared His promises over my life.  Submission to the lies of the enemy hinders the Lordship of Jesus Christ Who is the Word made flesh to us. He said, to resist the lies, we submit to God and the TRUTH of His word.  When we open our mouth to speak, it not only changes the atmosphere of where we're at but MORE SO it changes our hearts as we hear our own voice speak His word.

 

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God and hearing our own voice declaring His goodness, His faithfulness, His truth, His love, mercy and grace over our lives maneuvers our thoughts into the set path that He has ordained for us for today! Before we know it, the oil of JOY has already been spilled in our hearts.

 
Resistance is always present because we live in an opinionated world but the resurrection power of Christ, the power that OVERCOMES any resistance, lives inside you and me.  All we need to do is run into His presence and switch on our awareness of Him that He is as real as our breath.  He is closer than we think He is.  Press in and dig in into His word that is to be revered as the ultimate deciding factor and authority in our lives. It is to be the plumbline in which our hearts and minds are to be calibrated in. Otherwise, when we listen to everyone's thoughts and opinions around us, we get tossed to and fro and loosen the tight rope in which our hope is anchored on and when there is no hope, faith cannot exist.

 
All these things are to be wrapped up in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.  He is the present-day-Godhead taking up residence inside us that was sent and given to us to be our HELPER.  Oh yes, to live in this dysfunctional world, we need HELP and He is our EVER PRESENT HELP in time of need.  Even to switch our thinking so that our thoughts be taken captive into the obedience of Christ, we need help.  We need grace to run our life's race in this world.

 

The OIL of the Holy Spirit that bring us OIL of gladness brings courage and strength which is a vitality to victoriously live on earth.

 

OIL!  It is designed for a wide range of general lubrication.  For cars, oil's main purpose is to lubricate all the parts of the engine. Besides that, it also prevents excessive wear of parts, cleans the surfaces, keeps the engine cool, inhibits corrosion and keeps engine sealed properly.  For baking, lubrication is important to baked products because the oil improves dough handling, as well as eases dough expansion.  Oil adds texture, moisture, and flavor as well as prolongs shelf life in baked products.  For cooking specifically frying, it functions as a heat transfer medium and contributes flavor and texture to foods.  For lamps, it will keep the fire burning.  If a lamp is empty of oil, it will go out when the oil is consumed.  For cleansing, oil can be found in furniture polish, wood treatment products, stainless steel cleaners, toilet bowl cleaners and air fresheners.

 

The Holy Spirit HELPS us to minimize friction and allows smooth movement to make our lives run smoothly.  He lubricates our lives that as we run, rest and release, as we change gears in times of transition, He arms us with His anointing of ease.  He illumines the word of God to bring powerful revelations, knowledge and wisdom.  He convicts us to righteousness, allowing us to see what the finished work of Jesus Christ has done, is doing and will continue to do in our lives. He makes us realize how cleansed, beautiful, pure and blameless we are in the eyes of our Daddy God all because of the Blood of the Lamb.

 

All these He made AVAILABLE to us. But to top it all, HE made all these ACHIEVABLE not by might nor by power but by the Spirit of God.  He is the One Who is all the while effectually at work in us, creating in us and energizing us both TO WILL and TO DO for His own pleasure, delight and satisfaction.

 

How awesome it is to think that WE HAVE BEEN GREASED FOR EASE, living a good life that He has prearranged and made ready for us.
