“For as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.”  Proverbs 23:7

The devil’s plug has been pulled and he is diminishing as we speak!  All power and authority has been stripped off from him by the Blood of the Lamb and was RESTORED back to us when Jesus said .. “IT IS FINISHED!”

BUT many of us put his plug back to the power source by believing more his lies than the truth of God’s Word.  Fear, worry, anxiety, guilt and condemnation are his tricks to pull you down.  He makes you think it’s all your fault.  But then again, we are no longer ignorant of his schemes. PRAISE GOD!  The ROAR of the Lion of Judah is strong and loud enough to keep his voice silent.  To  make it more appealing is that the Holy Spirit’s “still small voice” is more than enough to pulverize the enemy’s shout.  This is GOOD NEWS!

When you say NO to FEAR, you remind the devil of his POWERLESSNESS!

“You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away.  Then God MADE YOU ALIVE WITH CHRIST, for He forgave ALL our sins.  He CANCELED the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.  In this way, HE DISARMED THE SPIRITUAL RULERS and AUTHORITIES.  He SHAMED them PUBLICLY by HIS VICTORY over them on the Cross.” Colossians 2:13-15 NLT

Instead of exposing our ears to his lies, we bombard our thoughts with what is PRAISEWORTHY and  FULL OF POWER!!!   Paul said “Fix your thoughts on what is TRUE, and HONORABLE, and RIGHT, and PURE, and LOVELY and ADMIRABLE.  Think about things that are EXCELLENT and WORTHY OF PRAISE. (Philippians 4:8 NLT)

Thinking positive thoughts requires the GRACE of God to sustain it.  We need the Holy Spirit Who is our HELPER, our STRENGTHENER, our COUNSELOR to be able to keep ourselves above the water when humongous waves bash us and violent wind blows.  We need His voice and His hand to see us through.  We trust on His powerful grip that He will never let go of us and never let us down.  He is faithful and true.  It is He Who sustains us 100% 24/7 as we continue to set our eyes on Him.

Our thinking always translates to experience.  Wrong thinking dillutes and weakens our revelation of who God is but RIGHT THINKING will always lead us to the RIGHT PLACE at the RIGHT TIME, doing the RIGHT THING with the RIGHT HEART.
