A Master Artist always has the complete picture in His mind before He starts His initial brushstroke.  His words were … “It is finished!”

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart …” Jeremiah 1:5

He already has all the necessary materials needed before He starts painting.  You will see a canvas on an easel, the paint with an array of colors and the paintbrush just as God created the heavens and the earth and everything else before He formed man.  Then, He commences.

Notice that every brushstroke is vital to complete a masterpiece may it be a tiny little dot or a 2-inch thick stroke of color.  Our walk with Jesus is practically the same.  Every step of the way is a step forward to fulfilling our destiny.  May it be a detour, a downhill or an uphill … all are necessary steps.  There is ALWAYS a reason why we are where we are.  With God, nothing just happens.  God does not expect more from us than our current level of maturity allows.  As we grow and mature, God will test us ONLY for the purpose of PROMOTING us into greater level of influence and maturity.

A set back is never a reversal in His eyes but a set up for a better you.  Like a paintbrush in His hand, He is IN CONTROL and He is the kind of Master Artist Who never lets go of you.  He uses chaos and gross darkness as His canvas.  The ashes of our dreams mixed with tears have become God’s paint.  It will be an oil painting, for He is stirring in the oil of joy.  Once you see what He is DOING, you surely will be ENJOYING the journey.

Never compare yourself with someone else that God is painting.  KNOW that He won’t run out of unique designs and He has more room for everyone’s call to fit in His Kingdom.  He created you so distinctly like NO OTHER!

If you see your life messy at this very moment, BE OF GOOD CHEER!  He isn’t done with you yet.  A brilliant portrait is about to come forth.  He has called you to be the salt and light of the earth and when it’s time to ARISE AND SHINE … the whole world will take notice.  So, in the meantime, BE STILL!  The whole earth is groaning for the revealing sons of God to rise up and take their rightful place and yes, YOU as His masterpiece have a part to play!
