Who knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God? Where does the Holy Spirit dwell? Hmmm inside you and me who believe in Christ Jesus our Savior, washed by the Blood of the Lamb of God and made us worthy to be His vessels.
Who has complete knowledge, having infinite awareness, understanding, and insight of us? Who literally knows us inside out? Who knows the end from the beginning? Who began a good work in us and is faithful to finish it to an EXPECTED END? There is only one answer to this, The One True God Who wonderfully and fearfully created us.
Don’t you think He doesn’t know our needs and wants before we even call on Him? SURELY HE DOES! It is the Spirit of God Who reveals to us the things that has been freely given to us.
“Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes.” Ephesians 1:4 NLT
YES, this is too good to be true and because His goodness, His faithfulness, His wonderful plans and purposes for our lives are way beyond what we can think or imagine doesn’t mean it isn’t true. We may ask a question … “How can He love and choose me before He made the world? That’s way too impossible!” Well, His Word said … just trust Him with ALL your heart and LEAN NOT on our own understanding because He and His ways and thoughts are beyond our comprehension, thus faith is imperative. The simple truth is HE IS JUST WAY TOO GOOD and HIS GOODNESS STILL EXCEEDS THE UTMOST GOOD THOUGHTS THAT YOU HAVE OF HIM! He is God and we are not!
I so love what Smith Wigglesworth wrote … “God is MORE EAGER to answer than we are to ask.” What a liberating thought to think of? If you are a father, you surely will be more than delightful to give what your child asks for and even exceeds it. HOW MUCH MORE our Daddy God Who created everything? He said, when we call upon His Name, He will answer and show us GREAT and MIGHTY things that we don’t know. For every answer, our Father is glorified in Christ.
“Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” John 14:13 NASB
Truly, His goodness opens an invitation for you and I to explore.
“The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth.” Psalm 145:18 NIV
Father, Thank You for opening my eyes to see Your goodness and help me to be more aware of the good things that you have done, are doing and will be doing in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
