He’s Mindful of Me

“What is man that You are MINDFUL of him,
And the son of [earthborn] man that You CARE for him?” Psalm 8:45 AMP

I always wonder what kind of thoughts fill HIS mind of me.  And His word doesn’t just stop there.  It says, HE cares for me.  TO CARE means HE makes it further than just thoughts.  He puts His thoughts into action.

The Creator of the universe carefully thought of His creation way before creation.  He already knew us from the inside out.  He already knew what our gifts and callings would be.  He already knew the destiny that He predestined us to be and that is to be His sons and daughters, loved deeply by Him.  This thought gave Him delight and pleasure, us belonging to Himself.

“God decided in advance to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. This is what He wanted to do, and it gave Him great pleasure.”  Ephesians 1:5 NLT

In the process of adoption, we also have a role to play, and that is to be abandoned into His loving grace and embrace.  He didn’t create us to be dictated. He created us to be intimately connected to Himself that we will be driven by our desires that He deposited and initiated, for us to know Him, be with Him and be led by Him.  He gave us the free will to choose Him above everything else but at the same time showing us the arrows on which road to choose.  I believe this is one of the reasons why He ultimately desires us TO PERSONALLY KNOW HIM because when we come to know HIM practically through personal experience and encounter, our pursuit of Him will be inevitable.  We will come to discover that His love and beauty is irresistible.

We are entering the times when His goodness is so displayed and demonstrated that one can no longer deny HIS GREAT LOVE for mankind.

Why is HE thinking of you and me?  Because He loves us!  Because He wants to express His love for us.  Because we are special.  Because He desires to finish what He beautifully started with us.  Because we are His masterpiece, a work of outstanding artistry, fearfully and wonderfully made.  He sees us as His finished work of art when Jesus said “IT IS FINISHED!”, but the manifestation of such workmanship is still in the process, from faith to faith, from glory to glory.

Like an artist who paints a picture, he already has in mind how the picture would look like when it’s finished.  From the beginning to end, every brushstroke is a vital necessity to complete the picture.

“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” Ephesians 2:10 AMP

God loves us so much that IN CHRIST He sees us differently.  Through our redemption by the power of the Blood of Jesus Christ, He made us His earthly dwelling place, filled with His Spirit, the resurrection power that anoints and empowers us to live the GOOD LIFE that He has prepared for us.  Our intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit allows us to receive what God has freely given us, leading us every step of the way, revealing to us His second-to-second, minute-to-minute THOUGHTS, that we may take the path which He set.

It is HE Who makes known to us the path of life, filling us the joy that only comes from His presence giving us pleasures of eternal living in Him.

“Now You’ve got my feet on the life path,
all radiant from the shining of Your face.
Ever since You took my hand,
I’m on the right way.”  Psalm 16:11 MSG

I believe this is why His thoughts are filled with us which are revealed to us by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.  He desires to lead us to follow every brushstroke in the canvass of His masterpiece.   We may not perfectly do it, but He surely has His redemptive brushstrokes that contribute to an overall effect of beauty and perfection in our lives.  Nothing takes Him by surprise.  It is He Who perfects that which concerns us as we get suspended in His love at all times and then He makes all things beautiful in its time.

Be fully persuaded that He is thinking of you 24/7.

Be fully persuaded that He cares for you 24/7.

And when you open His heart, you’ll find you 24/7.
