Think Like Christ

IMG_9317

Having the mind of Christ in its simplest terms is having the wisdom of God to respond to the challenges around us that enables us to think right, speak right and do right.  It is when we are being quickened by the Holy Spirit living inside of us anointing us to think the right thoughts that produces our ways of doing right.

When all is well in our lives, what are we thinking?  When all is not well, what are we thinking?

“Study this Book of Instruction CONTINUALLY. Meditate on it DAY and NIGHT so you will be sure to obey everything written in it.  Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”  Joshua 1:8 NLT

Our thoughts come in from what we hear and see that are deposited into the reservoir of our hearts.  Where are our gateways exposed to?

Incline your ear and hear the words of the wise,
And apply your heart to my knowledge;
For it is a pleasant thing if you keep them within you;
Let them all be fixed upon your lips,                                                                                             So that your trust may be in the Lord;
I have instructed you today, even you.  Proverbs 22:17-19 NKJV

Become grounded in the Word of God!  God wants us to take His word, claim it, receive it, believe it, declare it.  His words are SPIRIT and LIFE.  They are the words of the Spirit meant to manifest into being when believed and explored.  It is the breath of life, the life-giving power by which pierces into our spirits bringing change from the inside-out.

The Holy Spirit in us, the Revealer of all Truth in the Word of God kindles and accelerates our minds to think like He thinks, thinking from His throne, rising above the snake line, seeing things from His perspective and manifests them before our very eyes.

A renewed thinking thinks no impossibility.  It thinks victory for every situation!  It thinks healing and wholeness for every disease.  It thinks provision for every vision.  It thinks restoration and transformation as its hope solutions.

“I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].  Philippians 4:13 AMPC

Let your declaration today be … “I have the mind of Christ in Jesus’ Name!”

  1. ***Most Christians underestimate the Power in the thought. That is why it is said: the Power of Life and Death comes from our words. The hardest thing to accept is that once we can pin point the incorrect thinking, it takes a conscious effort to rewire our Brian’s to think the thoughts of Christ. We all are products of our Environment, thank God we are able to put that product back on the shelf and reach for the Greatness on the Top Shelf! Thanks for sharing!

    1. Amen and amen! I totally agree with you that changing the way we think from our world-influenced way to the word-conformed way takes time. Thank God that His grace is always sufficient. One great thing that we are thankful for is that the light of His word has already started to pierce in into our hearts and the more we dig deeper we’re becoming to think like Him. And as His light continues to shine in and through us, we can offer this light to the world that they, too, can personally experience what it means to think like Christ. Thank you for your thoughts on this 🙂 You are appreciated much.
