No thing can separate God from His love for He Himself is Love personified.  All that He is and all that He does comes from Love Himself for that is Who He is.

Love cannot be love without an object of its affection to express itself to.  The unselfish attribute of love is the willingness to give up one’s self for someone else.  It is concerned more with the needs and wishes of others than with one’s own.

Love freely gives.  We can give without loving, but we cannot love without giving.  For God SO LOVED the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son, Jesus.  He freely gave without conditions.  He freely gave Jesus before the foundation of time as the ultimate and only solution to the fall at the Garden of Eden, for only IN HIM, washed by His precious blood, with cleansed slate without spot and blemish, sanctified and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of God (1Corinthians 6:11), we are made new creations, giving us HOPE, a confident anticipation to explore and experience His goodness and glory.  His generous nature demonstrated what it means to love and if we are to be imitators of Christ, His word says, “And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35) Indeed, to love is to give.

I was meditating one day about His great love.  It’s funny to think how He opened my eyes to see clearly, simply, purely, straightforwardly, directly and plainly.  Truly when we ask, we receive.  When we seek, we find.  When we knock, we see open doors.  When we come boldly before Him with full confidence, we will never be put to shame.  Instead, He is more than ready and willing, forever waiting for us to come to Him expectant of what He is about to speak.  And with open hearts we receive Their witness for what they speak they have known and what they testify they’ve seen.  The Godhead knows the end from the beginning.  Our God is an all knowing God who answers our needs and inquiries even before we ask.

These strong impressions in my heart made me more confident that there is nothing and no one that can come against His love for us except us.  It takes a heart to receive to most bebefit what has already been given. Our revelatory knowledge of Who He is with our fully persuaded heart play a vital role.  No wonder His word says, “Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding.”  (Proverbs 4:5-7)

The greatness of our God is equal to the greatness of His love.

The mighty strength of our God is equal to the mighty strength of His love.

The unchanging attribute of our God is equal to His unchanging love.

The unequaled depth of our God is equal to the unequaled depth of His love.

The exceeding wonder of our God is equal to the exceeding wonder of His love.

The majestic beauty of our God is equal to the majestic beauty of His love.

GOD IS LOVE.  When we come to know Him, we come to know the equivalence of His love.

If God is WITH us, then nothing and no one can ever separate us from His love.

If God is FOR us, what can stand against the power of His love?

If God is IN us, then we are constantly and consistently filled and flooded with His love.

The greatness of His love can never be contained in our hearts for it is meant to overflow through us.  If it doesn’t, then maybe we are bound up too much of ourselves to let it flow through us.  But just like a branch, of which we are, can never survive without being connected to the True Vine.  As we stay in close fellowship and intimacy with Jesus, the sap of His love will continually flow in us until it breaks our selfish binders and let His love flow in and through us.  Loving others is never meant to be a burden nor a struggle.  The result of our intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit Who pours love into our hearts will bear the fruit of LOVE, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

Mind you, the tree that bears fruit never eats its own fruit.  Therefore, the fruit of the Holy Spirit in our lives is meant for others to eat that those around us will TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD.  Once the fruit is eaten, the incorruptible seeds found in the fruit are planted into the hearts of those who partook that will eventually sprout, grow and bear fruit.

God’s utmost purpose in loving us GREATLY, UNCONDITIONALLY, MIGHTILY, DEEPLY, WONDERFULLY, BEAUTIFULLY and UNCHANGEABLY is for us to be filled and flooded completely that no amount of resistance on our part can stand against it.  The power of His love is furiously relentless that can renew our minds and transform our hearts until we are fully convinced and persuaded that we no longer live for ourselves.  “It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who LOVED me and GAVE Himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20)  We reach to a point of no return that “ALL of me is consumed with ALL of HIM.”

The Holy Spirit in us anoints us to go beyond the limitations of our human capacity to love and empowers us to love like Jesus loves.  It is He Who is effectually at work in us, energizing and creating in us the power and desire both to will and to do ARMED WITH HIS LOVE that will give glory to Him alone.

Love never fails.  It never gives up.  It never runs out.  It never quits.  It never ends.  It never ceases.  All we need to do is position ourselves to be like a funnel, receiving all the love that He has poured, is pouring and will continue to pour into our hearts in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in us and allow it to flow through us.

“Your strong love and unselfish concern for each other will prove to the world that you are My disciplined followers.” (John 13:35)

Prayer:  Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Jesus Who is Love powerfully demonstrated and personified to save us from perishing and giving us eternal life.  Thank You for being so relentless in pursuing us, Your sons and daughters, with Your love that never ceases to amaze us.  Open our hearts today to receive ALL that You have poured into our hearts that we may come to know You and Your love more and more each day and walk in the power of Your love, not in and of our own ability but it is You Who have anointed and empowered us to love like Jesus loves.  We put our trust in You and we confidently rest in Your amazing love for us.  Amen!
