When a new opportunity comes knocking at our doors and we have opened ourselves to receive it, surely it will require necessary adjustments to our schedules. We just don’t need a new timetable, but most importantly new ways require a new way of thinking for it to be effectively achieved. Our lives go according to our most dominant thoughts. We may not be aware of how powerful our thoughts are, but they really are.

Strong In The Lord
God has a different way of looking at things. His thoughts are higher and so are His ways. Because He created us according to His image and likeness, He desires our minds renewed that we may be conformed to His thoughts and ways resulting to our transformed lives by meditating His word day and night.
Discern Well!
Time is precious. Time spent with the Lord pleases Him at the same time it refreshes and strengthens us. It is never wasted when we choose to spend it with the One we love most.
Be A Seeker!
Ten minutes before the strike of midnight for 2018, I pressed on for His personalized word for me that will keep me focused and on track for the year. We know that His word is timely at the same timeless. It is the same yesterday, today and forever. And YES, because He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, He gave me “my word” for 2018.
“ONE THING I have asked of the Lord, and that I will seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life,
To gaze upon the beauty [the delightful loveliness and majestic grandeur] of the Lord
And to meditate in His temple.” (Psalm 27:4 AMP)
Filled And Flooded!
Have you ever come across a verse that keeps popping up every now and then because it gets you to a place where your mind boggles due to its awesomeness? And every time it comes, it brings new and fresh revelation that gives way to the power of His word to dig deeper into your heart. That itself is breakthrough for me.
God’s love is meteoric,
His loyalty astronomic,
His purpose titanic,
His verdicts oceanic.
Yet in His largeness
nothing gets lost;
Not a man, not a mouse,
slips through the cracks. (Psalm 36:5-9 MSG)
Great God!
If having a GREAT GOD Who loves us deeply is the focal point in our lives, it puts a stop to the limitations that we are in and causes our murmurs and complains to cease. It terminates FEAR (False Evidence Appearing Real) and cultivates our confidence that indeed there is NOTHING impossible with Him.
“For the Lord is a GREAT GOD, a great King above ALL gods. He holds in His hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains.” Psalm 95:3-4 NLT
Be Fed and Be Led, To Feed and Lead!
Jesus is the Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Yes, He is the unblemished Lamb, the perfect offering for the atonement for our sin once and for all. Because of Him, we have been justified and made righteous before God that we may come boldly to His throne to obtain mercy and find grace in time of need.
Answered Prayer
All of us must have experienced challenges that seemed to be at a dead end. When this happened, I am pretty sure that all of us must have also looked up to God when there seemed to be no way after everything else that we considered to be exit signs failed. I, for one, was one of those who made God as the last resort. Thankfully, God is always doing a new thing every single day for His mercies are new every morning
Compare NOT
Comparison kills who we are and what we have. The very moment we compare ourselves with others, it either takes us to be prideful for being better than others or it depresses us for seeing others better than ourselves, depriving us to see and appreciate what the Lord has in store for us and who He truly made us to be.
Take the journey of seeking Jesus for it is in knowing Him that we will come to know who we are, created according to His image and likeness. As He is, so are we in this world.
Get into His Word, for what is written about us will anchor you and I to the truth. It will prevent, protect and shield us from the lie of the accuser of the brethren. It is the confidence in our identity that establishes us to take authority and be in our rightful place in the kingdom of God.
Driven vs Led
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God (Romans 8:14 NKJV).
What does it mean to be LED? One simple description of being led is that there is Someone before us LEADING and we follow. To be led in this age and time is like having a GPS that directs us and our part is to listen and obey with ease trusting the GPS’s voice to take us to our set destination.
The Lord is not into driving our lives for He has given us our free will to choose which way to go, but the GOOD NEWS is, He has given us Holy Spirit, the present day Godhead Who is resident in our hearts, to guide us into all truth and silence the voice of deception around us. His continual presence transforms us in ways and means that only He can do all because only He knows us inside out. The light of His love illuminates within us exposing everything unnecessary at a given time that doesn’t bring Him pleasure and transforms us to be Who He created us to be when we open every part of us to Him and allow His love to seep into the inner recesses of our being.
